I wish to prune back the branches of Lime T34, Lime T33 and Lime T32. Three of the 5 lime trees I have in my garden are encroaching on my neighbours roof (30 Magdala Road) and the branches are touching there roof tiles and in windy conditions they are rubbing the roof tiles and i believe its only a matter of time before the roof is damaged and I will be responsible to pay for damages which i'm keen to avoid. All three tree branches are also within 3 metres of my property and over hanging the roof in places so i would like to prune both sides of the proposed trees from both properties which would also keep the trees asymmetric.

T1- Oak :- Crown lift lower branches over the garden of No.22 to give 4m clearance and improve light to the small vegetable garden. (Mainly epicormic growth on the stem) Reduce back the lowest limb on the North side of the tree growing towards the gutter of No.22 by 2 metres to prevent Squirrels using this branch for accessing the roof space.

T1 - Lime - Crownlift to 5 meters - Low branches are shading the garden T2 - Cherry - Prune back to the boundary and reduce height by 4 meters - Branches are encroaching on the garden and the tree is becoming quite leggy. T3 - Norway Maple - Crown lift to 5 meters and prune back overhanging branches over the roof by 2.5 meters - Lower branches are encroaching on the garden and some branches are getting close to the roof. T4 - Lime - Crown lift to 5 meters and prune over hanging branch back by 2.5 meters - branches are encroaching on the garden and shading the garden

Tree Species - Sycamore Numbers used in plan T2 and T6 Proposed works - Reduction of lateral branches to give 3.5m clearance from the roof (not more than 10% of the tree)

Lime (T1) - Prune growth to acheive 2m clearance away from the property. Epicormic growth to be taken back to main stem. Remove basal growth. Lime (T2) - Remove basal growth Lime (T3) - Remove basal growth Squirrels have been jumping from T1 on to applicants property and causing damage to the roof. Pruning away from property will prevent this and also allow more light on to property to reduce damp issues. Basal growth removal is purely aesthetic and more of a maintenance issue.
