The proposed development comprises the installation and operation of a ground-mounted solar farm and energy storage system. The solar farm will broadly comprise a series of linear rows (also known as arrays) of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, together with inverter platforms; control room; DNO station; storage containers; battery storage; security fencing & CCTV; temporary construction compound; and enhanced landscaping & ecological management. Submission of revised fence and gate details pursuant to condition 4 of permission 14/02077/F, SESW are proposing to construct a Soakaway Lagoon, which is required in connection to the ongoing upgrades at Woodmansterne Water Treatment Works.
