Specification is a 1.5 metre reduction in height of the group, with similar shortening-in of side growth away from the house and over garden. Prune back T1 and T2 Beech branches currently close to house guttering/roof to ensure clearance of 2 metres. Prune back T5 Maple branches currently touching the garden room roof to ensure clearance of 2 metres. In addition, prune back T1 and T2 Beech branches currently touching neighbour's (26 Cunningham Road) garage roof to ensure clearance of 2 metres.

This application is for the reduction of multiple trees and the reduction of one Magnolia tree.All trees are believed to be covered under a blanket and have all clearly been reduced in the past.The main reason for the reduction of the trees is to allow more light in and around the property and reduce leaf matter, moss and lots of dead branches dropping from the Ash trees damaging the cars and the garage roof.T1- Large Ash tree situated at the front of the property as you drive down your drive on the left side. Reduce the crown by 1.5m all round back to suitable growth points above previous pruning points and remove all dead wood. The tree is showing signs of early Ash with constant twigs and small branches dropping covering the driveway and grass verge.T2- Reduce the crown of the Cherry tree back to previous pruning points by reducing it by 1.5m all round to create a well shaped and balanced crown. Thin the crown by 15%.T3- Reduce the Ash tree next to the garage by 2-3m in height and prune selected lateral limbs to create well shaped and balanced crown The crown is showing signs of moderate Ash die back and has dropped 4 medium sized limbs landing on the garage roof below. The twigs dropping have blocked the gutters and the customer would like to keep the tree as long as possible without causing future damage to his property.T4-Reduce the crown of the large Oak tree by 2m all round taking it back to healthy growth points to create a well shaped and balanced crown. The crown is currently very dense and causing issues with lots of moss taking over the grass below. A reduction will help with leaf matter and sun light to the garden and property.T5- Beech, reduce the crown of the Beech tree by 1.5-2m all round, back to previous pruning to create a well shaped and balanced crown. T1: Ash: Thin out internal growth by 20% all over: To allow more light into the garden. T2: Acer: Minor crown reduction: To keep contained within boundary. T3: Horse Chestnut: Cut back growth overhanging properties garage roof. T4: Ash: Remove 4 lowest limbs each limb approximately 30-40cm in diameter to allow more light into the garden and contain.

T1 Oak- Redrown by 1.5m to suitable growth points maintaining natural shape and crown back to source to a height of 5m. Tree is causing excessive shading and canopy is very low for overhanging garage area and garden.

T1 Oak - Is causing excessive shade and encroaching on property. Reduce radial spread on West facing side of crown by up to 2m to suitable growth points so that final radial spread is 9m (see attached photos/diagram). remove two lower branches (see attached photos/diagram) to raise crown over garden and garage.

T1 Oak tree. Remove the lowest 4 branches on the West side adjacent to the house. T2 Oak tree. Shorten all branches that overhang the garage roof by 2.5m.

T1. Leyland Cypress. Reduce the height by 30% to allow more light into the property and improve the safety factor. This height reduction removes the skinny regrowth since the tree was last topped. T2. Leyland Cypress. Reduce the height to 1.5m below the top of the telegraph pole. T3. Two Lawson Cypress. Fell. The trees are growing in a shaded area and are not good examples of the species, as well as being in poor health. T4. Robinia. Remove the branch that is above the garage roof.

Right Hand Side of Entrance. G2 - Yew, Cypress. Crown lift to 3 metres. Remove 4 x juvenile Yew trees and 1 x Holly. The subject trees require pruning as specified in order to raise ambient light levels to the front garden area, as the current screening effect from the highway afforded by the tree group, is causing an unnecessary level of anxiety to the property owners. Left Hand Side of Drive T4 - Cedar. Reduce and reshape by removal of up to 2 metres in crown width and height to shape and balance, remove deadwood and crown lift to give clearance over garage. The subject tree requires pruning as specified, in order to maintain the tree at a size appropriate to its location. The specified works will not reduce the amenity value of the tree and will allow sustainable tree management in the long term. T5 - Yew Fell completely in sections, using lowering ropes where necessary. The subject tree is of poor shape & form and suppressed by adjacent specimens. In addition, removal will raise ambient light levels to the front garden area and front elevation of the building.

T1 - Sycamore - Tip prune to shorten the branches by 0.75m.. T2- Sycamore - Tip prune to shorten the branches on the north side by 2m where they severely overhang the garage. Shorten the remainder of the crown by 0.75m. T3 - Sycamore - Tip prune to shorten the branches by 1m. The reason is to control the size of the trees because they are close to three houses.
