AMMENDED SPECIFICATION T3: T1 Beech by the garage. Fell to ground level , Suffering with Meripilus for several years now this tree has been previously reduced and is showing signs of dieback in the upper crown. Tree located in a high target area and is of high risk. Very limited management options. T2: Beech closest to house. Fell to 3m stump . This had a large clump of Meripilus fruiting bodies to the base of the tree this year and has also been suffering with this for serval years. It is a very large tree and would almost certainly fall on the house if it were to fail at the bottom. Limited management options T3: Beech adjacent to the lane: this has a significant Ganoderma fungal bracket at the base. With the other two trees removed its environment and wind loading will be significantly altered. Reduce crown by up to 2m to reduce lever and compensate for the removal of the other trees.

(T1) Scots pine - Remove major deadwood (Exempt) and reduce low scaffold limb on east (house side) by up to 3 meters to reduce end weight. The limb shows signs of a previous old wound on the main scaffold (see pic) with signs of possible internal defect. The limb also has poor branch unions and has previously been reduced. It extends towards the house and if it were to fail it would likely hit the garage or neighbouring property. Reduce single overextended limb on the north side over the garden (last pic). (T2) Scots pine - Crown lift by up to 5 meters by removal of secondary sub lateral branches and remove deadwood. To maintain the trees crown within proximity to surroundings and create more light to the border underneath.
