T1 Weeping Willow Tree - Fell. The reason the severe lean of the tree towards the house and the trees proximity to the house. T2 Lombardy Poplar tree - Fell. Reason: I have climbed and pruned this tree twice and reduced the height once during the last several 15 years. Whilst climbing I observed structural defects in the form of severely included bark unions and old cut open wounds with internal decay cavities. These symptoms are typical of this type of tree and with the slight lean and proximity to two houses, tree removal is required.

T001 Holm Oak growing in front of house - Crown reduce by around 2 metres overall to leave an approximately 8 to 9 metre high tree. This is to ensure foliage is clear of the building and to maintain the tree at a manageable size, consistent with good arboricultural practice.

T1 - Oak - To selectively reduce mature Oak tree located in the middle of the rear garden by up to 2.0m on house side. Fell the large Ash tree T1 that is suffering from Ash die back and is situated very close to the property. The owner of the tree has noticed a 50% reduction in crown density over the last 2 years with multiple large limbs dropping with visible cankers and lesions visible from the ground level. The tree is within 8m of the property and leaning heavily toward the property with branches growing toward the property, the home owner is very worried about safety of their family. Two large limbs have snapped and currently resting on other limbs making it unsafe for the children to play in the garden. The property has lots of Oak, Beech and Cherry trees and replanting a young healthy tree would be in the interest of our client. All work will be BS3998 compliant.

This application is for the reduction of 2 trees, one Oak and one Ash tree. The trees are situated in the rear garden of The Vicarage, Woodland way but overhang the garden of Warren House causing significant shading to the property and garden and damaging the grass making it very difficult to use the back garden and enjoy the grass area. Our client likes the trees and would like to reduce the Oak tree T1 by 1.5m to create a well shaped and balanced crown and thin the canopy by 15% to allow more dappled light into the garden and property. The Ash tree T2 is causing the same problem as the Oak tree T1 and we would like to reduce by 1.5-2m all round back to healthy growth points to allow more light and less debris dropping into Warren House garden. All work will be compliant with BS3998 standards.
