Hill Farm Woodmansterne Street Woodmansterne Surrey SM7 3NF

Yard Area - Right Hand Side. T1 - Ash, Fell as close to ground level as possible. Works to be carried out with the use of a MEWP. Due to the cavity in dominant leader at a height of approximately 3.5 metres from ground level - cut and stack all logs. The tree is located to the front of the stables to the right hand side of the yard area. There is a large cavity at a height of approximately 3.5m from ground level and approximately 0.2 - 0.5m above the main crown break within the dominant stem which over hangs the stable building roof . Due to the size of the cavity the tree would require significant reduction to stabilize which would also include the adjacent dominant stem to balance leaving a Monolith trunk and removing all amenity and aesthetics value . This is a high load bearing limb with risk of complete failure if retained leading to significant damage to the stables building . The tree appears to becoming slightly stag headed which could be early signs of Ash Dieback

2 Trittons Tadworth Surrey KT20 5TR

My requests fall broadly into three areas summarised below. However, in total, I am making 6 requests (A - F below). 1) This relates PT 1 - PT 5 on enclosed map. These changes - overall - will align the size and shape of the main trees (PT1, 2 and 3), removing overhanging or damaged branches, and improve light access for all trees. it will also support the growth of PT4, PT5 and NPT1 & NPT 2A) PT1 - Oak - Remove dead or damaged wood, reduce overhanging bilateral branches by 2 meters, and Crown thinning of up to 20%, to increase light to garden and surrounding trees. B) PT 2 - Cherry - Crown reduction by maximum of 3 meters. To align height and shape to PT 1 and PT 3 C) PT3 - Sweet Chestnut -Crown reduction by maximum of 3 meters. remove damaged branch overhanging property / seating area.D) PT4 - Holly Tree - Reduce height by no more than 2 meters, and bilateral branches by no more than 1 meter (to maintain shape). 2) This relates to PT 6, 8, and 9 on enclosed map, this change is to ensure good woodland management. Due to lean and poor crown shape, felling PT 6 will drastically improve light to PT9 and PT8 which are becoming over shadowed. it will also improve light to PT7 and NPT 3. E) Fell PT6 - Larch - to ground level, as it is a poor specimen and it will allow the continued growth and health of PT8 and 9 (as well as trees and foliage that are within a neighbouring property). 3) This relates to a group of 15 conifers labelled GT1. 7 of these trees were pruned in 2014, but 8 were not. Overall, their height aligns to the roof level (some to roof ridge level). I would like to restore these (or complete an initial prune) to align all conifers to the 2nd floor window height. F) Reduce the hight of 15 trees by between 2 and 3 meters and uniform their height and align to 2nd floor window. Rationale: Some of the trees within the copse land to the rear of our property have had some works carried out in 2014, but largely the trees and copse area as a w...

18 Tower Road Tadworth Surrey KT20 5QY

The tree is a Copper Beech situated in the small communal garden at the front of the block of flat known as 18 Tower Road. The LPA already has clear details of location of the tree - TPO RE458. The tree is approximately 9m high and its branches are growing above the height of the block of flats which results in twigs and leaves falling onto the roof of the building which in turn causes problems with the roof and blocked gutters. The branches also provide rodents and squirrels with potential access to the roof and the building. The branches growing towards the building are now touching the building, blocking out light, and blocking gutters with leaves and twigs. The branches also provide potential access to the building to rodents and squirrels. The branches growing towards the public highway are now growing beyond the property boundary and over the public footpath. The tree is realistically only visible to a maximum of 5 - 7 households and as Tower Road is a quiet suburban road it viewed by very little highway traffic. Proposed works:- 1. Reduce the height of the tree by 2 m so that it is no higher than the beginning of the roof of the building; 2. Cut back the branches growing towards the building by 60 cms; and 3. Cut back the branches growing over the public highway so that they do not extend beyond the hedge bordering the property.

Greenbank 9 Alders Road Reigate Surrey RH2 0EA

SEE CONDITION 2 FOR APPROVED WORKS .Oak T1 needs to be maintained as it has not been pruned for 10 years and growth is now excessive and is overgrowing our neighbour's house and roof (no.7) (photos attached) with risk of causing damage if branches fall in a storm. We believe that periodic and careful maintenance will prolong the life of this cherished tree which is an important feature of the area. Following the previous refusal of 20/02160/TPO this new application follows the recommendations of the case officer report: 1) Crown thin by up to a maximum of 15% in density, ensuring that the thinning operation is evenly distributed throughout the crown system and not confined to the central crown areas. 2) Crown lifting to a maximum height above ground level of 4.5m achieved primarily by the removal of secondary and sub branches only. 3) Lateral reduction of those branches to over extended lateral branches by around 1.5m 4) All pruning cuts shall be made to suitable secondary growth points. On completion of works the crown shall retain a natural and balance appearance.
