APPROVAL REQUIRED ONLY FOR T2 Ash (T1) - To section fell mature Ash tree the has died due to Ash Dieback located on the left hand side boundary. Lime (T2) - To crown reduce mature Lime tree located closest the house by approximately 4.0m. Yew (T3) - Cost to lift mature Yew tree located by the shed to give 4.0m ground clearance. Beech (T4) - To crown reduce mature Beech tree located by the house by 2.0m and remove all Ivy.

Rear Garden - Right Hand Side. T1 - Sycamore. Reduce back to previous reduction points retaining furnishing growth by a reduction of up to approximately 2 metres of the branch length. Remove 1x lowest limb overhanging shed roof. Reasons, T1 Sycamore: The tree is located in the rear garden to the right-hand side. Reduction as part of a maintenance program to maintain the tree at a suitable and desirable size for its location. To reduce the extent of the encroachment over the garden of No5 and to the rear elevations of the buildings. To allow more suitable light levels in to the area. To reduce the branch end weight reducing the risking of secondary branch failure from previous reduction works. Removal of 1x lowest limb to reduce the encroachment and conflict with the neighbouring shed

Front: T1 Weeping beech by drive : Small tree of little significance, located too close to drive way entrance and is continually being hit by vehicles. Approx. 120mm diameter. Fell to ground level. T2 Yew on front boundary: Historically reduced to form a compact crown. Reduce/trim to maintain previous reduction dimensions and maintain within its surroundings. T3 Lawson cypress in front garden: Historically topped out many times and as a consequence has become extremely wide and has little in the way of management options. The clients wish to renovate the front garden area and are keen to replant with a more suitable native species which will better fit the confines of the space. Fell to ground level (including adjacent shrubs which are not TPO), grind stump and remove all arisings. Rear/side: T4 Weeping beech between sheds : Tree has little significance approx. 150mm diameter. This tree is in a very restricted location and the clients are happy and willing to replant an alternative species in a more suitable location. Fell to ground level and grind stump.

G1: Group of 3 Oak trees to reduce back from building to previous points. (apx 1.5m growth). Reduction of lower limbs from Oak over bike shed by 2m.

Horse chestnut - T1 - To section fell 2x clusters of mature Horse Chestnuts that have had recent large failing limbs due to previous fire damage, using appropriate rigging techniques, and or hand held cuts. The trees have had 4x very limbs fail over the past 4 years and have caused excessive damage to shed and neighbouring properties. The customer feel they have tried there best to maintain the trees by removing deadwood etc but now feel its time for removal due to continues damage and safety threat. 2x replacement trees will be planted in the same position.

SEE CONDITION 2 FOR APPROVED WORKS . (T1) Oak tree- Reduce lateral branches by 2m and shape into top to bring into shape by reducing top crown by 0.5-1m to reshape crown, thin by 15% and remove lowest branch over shed. To allow more light into back of garden. The tree has a heavy lean into garden due to a large Ash tree situated behind. reducing lateral limbs will help balance the crown and future preserve the tree.

The tree is an Ash with multiple trunks from the same root stock (photo 5). It is part of the woodland area A1 in the schedule of the TPO 660. We have been advised verbally that at least one trunk is affected by ash dieback but probably more. They overhang our garden (7 Fieldhouse Villas) and parts of our neighbour's. Branches have already broken off (photo 3) and at least two trunks are fully covered with ivy (photos 2 and 3). We fear the trunks or at least the very large branches will break off and be a risk to health and safety as well as damage our shed, fences and other vegetation. Our proposal is to lop all trunks within the root stock to ground level. There are numerous trees within this woodland area, including many young ash. We expect new growth to appear very swiftly so we are not proposing to plant any new trees in what is a very limited area.

T4 - Conifer. Fell as close to ground level as possible. The tree is located in the rear garden right hand side, next to the shed. The tree is small and is damaging the base of the shed. The client is willing to replant in another location in the garden.

AMENDED PRUNING SPECIFICATION SEE CONDITION 2 FOR APPROVED WORKS AND INFORMATIVE 1 FOR GUIDANCE. Large mature Fir Tree - Crown lift by 3m to allow more light to the shrubs growing underneath and to protect the shed roof from damage. Leylandii - Originally planted to screen the electricity generator located in the corner of the garden, these have been very badly pruned and over half of them are dead. Proposal to remove and replace with 5 pleached Quercus Ilex or similar. Yew Tree 1 - planted in the generator compound. Proposal to prune overhanging branches to avoid congestion with new Holm Oak Pleached trees, reduce crown by 2m. Yew Tree 2 - Crown reduction by 2m to allow more light into the garden and reduce congestion with adjoining trees/shrubs. Yew Tree 3 - This tree looks to be dead, it has been overshadowed by the adjacent yew trees (2 and 4) and smothered by a very large clematis Montana growing through it. Proposal to remove this tree. Yew Tree 4 - Crown reduction by 2m to allow more light into the garden and reduce congestion with adjoining trees / shrubs, remove Ivy which has become established in the crown.
