The industrial unit has an existing covered canopy, with exposed sides. The main aspect of the works is to glaze and insulate this canopy, providing a more welcoming entrance to the facility. It is also proposed that access to the front entrance is made more accessible, with a level threshold path for visitors. This will result in the loss of two parking spaces, which are relocated on site, as shown in the proposed site plan. To the rear, a small brick building is proposed, creating a contained unit for compressor units, used in manufacturing.
