Rooflight changes create lower visual impact, including house no longer obscured by rooflights from east elevation, and allow easier access around the site through the use of walk on glass. Introduction of structural planters to provide screening and privacy to the patio from the road, while integrating a hidden railing and softening the overall visual impact of the extension. 3c. Removal - Landscape design submitted showing replacement planting following excavation leading to loss of trees and shrubs. Replacement planting and design proposed, 3d. Single storey side and rear extension, with hip to gable and rear dormer loft extension. Variation of Condition 1 of permission 17/00811/HHOLD. Extend the rear dormer/mansard further across the rear of the roof space to create more room internally, with that I would like to change the design to make it look aesthetically better and with it being larger I would need more window space included. I would like to add 1 more Velux window into the front of the roof. The rear dormer/mansard did not stretch far enough across the rear of the house in the previous plan to give enough space on the interior. Only having 1 Velux window on the front of the house did not allow enough light into the loft space from the front
