There are four trees along the right side of the wooded area. The branches are over hanging my roof (property no 26). I have the fear they will cause damage to my roof if they break. I want to cut these back to the property line so if they do break, they will fall into the woodland instead of my house. The trees are protected and I have spoken to the land owner, they are happy for them to be cut back. The four trees are all sycamores. I have spoken to the council and they have sent me the tree preservation order.

Please see the attached map. Trees number T1 to T5 are located on 31 Hall Park, trees number T6 to T9 are located on 29 Hall Park. They are causing a number of problems for us. 1. A lot of branches have fallen and hit our roof and 2 cars. This is dangerous to our home, to our cars. It is also dangerous for us and our pets when we are walking outside the house or in the garden, we fear the branches may fall and hit us. 2. The tree canopies are causing excessive shading. Our house 31 Hall Park is cold all the time, we have to switch on the heating even in the summer. Our house is dark inside and most of the time, we have to switch on the lights even during the day. Some areas in our house is damp due to no sun gets into the house. 3. There is subsidence in the rear end of the garden, also some tree roots have lifted some flags in the rear of the garden and causing uneven ground. This is of great concern to my husband and his health, he is disabled and has difficulty in walking. He is at risk of tripping over. T1 Lime- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T2 Sycamore- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T3 Horse Chestnut- please fell if possible, this has a few big splits in the trunk, it is shedding barks, and closest to our house. I am in fear that this tree could fall onto our house. We would replant a Lime, however, I would request if you could kindly consider this to be waived as there is insufficient space. T4 Lime- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T5 Lime- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T6 - I don't know what tree this is, please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction, (T6, T7, T8 as a group have shaded our house) T7 Sycamore- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T8- I don't know what tree this is, please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction T9 Sycamore (3-stemmed)- please crown thin, crown lift and crown reduction Most of these trees are shedding barks and may have ...

The map of the trees on our land we have been provided with is largely out of date and it is difficult to establish which tree is which as there are trees on the map that have been removed and our property is not even built on the map. I sought advice from the council who advised this is not a concern or an issue when completing this. We have sought advice from tree experts - ARB works. One tree, a sycamore (possibly T23) requires felling and removal due to a large part of trunk diseased. Removal of trees (T26, T27, T28) all sycamores due to encroaching on property and causes issues to roof and cars. Also making it a falling hazard due to falling residue on path and access to house as well as driveway. Neighbouring properties also complained of this issue. In addition, all other trees (possibly T19, T21, T22, T29) to be crown lifted by removal of epicormic growth on stems. If the removal of trees is declined, then trees (T26, T27, T28) to be crown lifted by removal of epicormic growth on stems along with the rest as well as crown lifting 2 x sycamore (possibly T28 and T29) to rear of property by removal of lower branches and over hang.
