25 Alden Close Helmshore Rossendale Lancashire BB4 4AX

There are a number of trees behind our fence line which is a public footpath at the top of number 12 Sunnybank road BB4 4PF. The public footpath is total overgrown, neglected and unusable. These trees are now so overgrown they are extensively encroaching our garden over the boundary line. Once they grow leaves back in spring they will be completely over our conservatory and garden. We have spent thousands on sorting the garden out and these trees are damaging the garden and if left much longer will damage our conservatory. They are also damaging our fence which is now so damp and rotting from the trees we will have to get a whole new fence. We would like to trim back the overhanging branches so this doesn?t happen. We do not want to cut down the trees or get rid of them we just want to trim back so they are not overhanging and ruining our garden etc. we are concerned if left this may invalidate our house insurance as you should not have a tree overhanging our property. We want to reduce the crown span of the trees to provide a clearance from our property boundary.

Lavender House Alden Road Helmshore Rossendale Lancashire BB4 4AJ

T12 - T16 need some maintenance as it has been many many years since we had them last trimmed etc. Whilst a tree surgeon inspected the work he notified us that T17 has ash dieback. We would like permission to trim T12 - T16 by 30%. It is costly to have these types of works done so this would ensure we wouldn't need to apply for a number of years. Quite a few branches have fallen this year and we would like to maintain the trees for safety reasons. We of course live with these issues as a family but also there is a public footpath directly next to them. Also, our neighbours in Sunnybank Cottages suffer with darkness and it affects their mental health so by undertaking these works it will help them too. As regards T17 the tree surgeon has indicated that it is suffering from ash dieback. As I am sure you can appreciate this has alarmed us as the tree could fall and it is in close proximity of our dwelling, public footpath. We always thought this tree was our responsibility but it is planted the other side of our fence so needs clarification from yourselves. Our priority is to fell the tree for safety reasons.

507 Burnley Road Crawshawbooth Rossendale Lancashire BB4 8LZ

THE TREE (UNKOWN TYPE) IS IN THE MIDDLE TIER OF THE GARDEN TO 507 BURNLEY ROAD. IT IS LOCATED ON THE BORDER OF 507 AND 509 BURNLEY ROAD. THE SIZE OF THE TREE IS NOW TOWERING OVER THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING, AND THE HOUSE IS ON 3 STOREYS. THIS PROVIDES EXCESSIVE SHADING TO APPROXIMATELY 5 HOUSES, 3 ON BURNLEY ROAD AND 2 ON CRAWSHAW GRANGE. THE TREE TRUNK HAS BECOME THAT LARGE, THAT THE BOUNDARY FENCE BETWEEN 507 & 509 HAS BROKEN AND IS IN DANGER OF BREAKING GARDEN PROPERTY IN 509. FALLING LEAVES ARE CREATING NUMEROUS ISSUES ON MOST OF THESE PROPERTIES ALSO, MAINLY FROM SLIP HAZARDS AND CLOGGING THE GUTTERING OF SEVERAL HOUSES.

Cribden House Special School Haslingden Road Rawtenstall Rossendale Lancashire BB4 6RX

Fell English Elm because it is dead/dying. Fell Silver Birch due to basal decay, basal damage, hollow stem and crown decline. This tree is close to part of the forest school (fire pit) area used by the school. Fell Sycamore to facilitate felling of Silver Birch. Prune back overhanging branches of trees along fence line adjacent to All Saint Catholic High School, to allow safe maintenance of school playing field and facilities. Health and safety of maintenance operatives and children using the field are compromised by the branches and the school are loosing usable land as the areas beneath the trees cannot be maintained.

Longholme Parsonage 2A Bacup Road Rawtenstall Rossendale Lancashire BB4 7ND

Elm (T1) - the owner would like the fell the elm due to the root system causing damage to the public path as well as the metal boundary fence which is also on the highway side. She doesn't not want to be accountable for any potential public liability that may occur because of the unsettled ground. The owner will happily replant a hawthorn or elm in a more appropriate location at the front of the property. Hawthorn (T2) - crown lift to 5.2m highway side and 3m property side plus 10% thin & 10% reduction of height to retain shape and manage height for the location of where the tree is.
