This has grown rapidly in recent years, and is now 11 metres high It is only 3 metres from the corner of our property, and so needs reducing in height we are proposing to reduce height by 50%, and trim the longer branches which extend over Barbers Lane by 1 metre.

Fell Bay Tree (T1) possibly originally grown for bay leaves, now considerably overgrown and obscuring attractive and substantial cherry tree (T4). Excessive shading and possibly unwise to be grown so close to building. Suggested low amenity value. Fell (Sorbus?) (T2) considered too close to extension (Planning Consent (2021/0225/FUL). Would create shading issues and possible root issues with new building. Fell Conifer of unknown name (T3) overlaps boundary of extension. Suggested low amenity value. No action currently: Cherry tree (T4) Reassess if consent for fell (T1) .
