The property has existing planning and Listed Building Consent (SL/2013/0865) to replace the existing single glazed sash windows with new double glazed timber frame sash windows, building works have progressed to the stage where this window replacement can now be undertaken. These 2 existing single glazed sash windows are not original to the building, (internal exposed stonework suggests they were likely replaced with smaller windows at the time of the property conversion to flats in 1968), they are visually at odds with the other sash windows on the rear walls of the building. This application requests to replace the 2 existing sash windows at the rear of the property on the 1st floor, with windows of the same design and similar scaling to the other 1st floor rear sash window, as drawn.
