Along the boundary with 18 Vinebank, Southampton - reduce the branches of the trees back to the boundary up to the height of the top of the roof of the house

T1 - Oak tree - reduce crown on the house side by up to 25% removing no more than 2.5 meters on the sides to stop the branches encroaching onto the house and to let a bit more light into the garden. Remove first 3 branches back to the trunk to lift the canopy over the garage and car port to give adequate clearance over the garage roof.

A) To re-shape the evergreen bushes (Thuja) and reduce their height by 1-2 metres. The Thuja closer to the house is currently 500cm high and 400cm wide. The Thuja further away from the house is currently 600cm high and 400cm wide. We wish to take 200cm off the height and 160cm off the width of both of these Thuja. B) reduce the height of the entire hedge-line to 3-4 metres. We would like to take out the Thuja trees in the top third of the hedge-line (marked as B2, see Photo 4). Reduce the width of the Thuja in B1 to 150cm from stem. C) reduce the height to 500cm; to cut away vertically on the neighbours side of the property back to 30cm from the stem so that going vertically from the neighbours fence, nothing hangs over into their property and to reduce the spread from the stem on the other three sides to 150cm. The Thuja closer to our house (paler green, in the area marked C on the overview) consists of two trees. We propose reducing the height to 300cm; and to take off a maximum of 30cm from the spread. D) To remove the stand-alone Thuja tree (marked as D) in our front garden as it blocks the light from the front bedroom. The tree was overgrown with ivy, and following removal of the ivy, the underlying branches have been revealed to have died off. The shrub/tree now looks very unattractive, in addition to its blocking light. The Thuja next to it would just be reshaped to return it to a tidy appearance. See Photo 12

T1 - Pedunculate Oak - Reduce lateral spread in the low to mid-crown over driveway (6-14 Hamble House) by 1.5m back to previous pruning points. Raise canopy over driveway to 5m.

Ash, Maple (Group 1, P1) - reduce Scarlett Ash by 3 metres laterally adjacent to Unit 14 to clear metal staircase; remove 2 no. standing dead Maple. Ash, Maple (Group 1, P2, P3, P4) - reduce laterally by 2 metres throughout rear of Unit 20 and Unit 13 to maintain clearance from building. Sycamore (Group 2, P1, P2) - remove multiple seedling trees to restore clearance from Units 13 & 12. Sweet Chestnut, Sycamore (Group 2, P3) - reduce mid and upper crowns by maximum 3 metres laterally to restore clearance from Units 11 & 10; remove significant dead wood. Ash, Sycamore, Holm Oak ( Group 3) - reduce laterally by 2 metres throughout south and east of Viceroy House to restore clearance from building. Sycamore, Ash (Group 4, P1-P4 inclusive) - remove standing dead, dead wood and heavy Ivy infestation throughout group; reduce laterally throughout by maximum 3 metres to maintain clearance over access road. Elm (Group 5, P1) - remove standing dead tree rooted above north west corner of group. Sycamore, Oak ( Group 5, P2 & P3) - crown-raise to 4 metres from ground level around edges of car park to restore clearance for parking spaces and to reduce overhang.
