NMA sought: Minor adjustments to the approved plans to improve the building's overall efficiency and to comply with new fire regulations: - Reduction in floor-to-floor building heights from level 1 and above (PBSA floors) from 3100mm to 2925mm (due to a reduction in slab thickness and ceiling void following RIBA Stage 3 co-ordination) to generally reduce the total building height from 42.925m to 41.475m AOD; - Reduction in building footprint (at all levels including the basement) by 500mm on the north façade and 500mm on the south façade; - Substation relocated; - Changes to the approved unit mix and relocation of the adaptable studios on each floor; - Omission of the two large cycle storage lifts to the south which are no longer required in line with the approval of details for condition 15 (cycle parking) (ref 22/AP/0635); and - Change of window types for the accessible studio rooms.
