Details of Condition 4 Schedule of Condition windows/ doors and Schedule of works drawings for the adaptation of the window as required by planning permission 20/AP/1511 dated 28/07/2020 for renovation and restoration of existing buildings at 10 and 11 West Square from 4 laterally arranged flats to 2 houses, including improvements to the frontages and some external and internal alterations. The proposed development includes new infill rear extensions at basement and ground floor levels and the re-instatement of the garden boundary between the 10 and 11 West Square properties.

Renovation of the external appearance of this Listed Building rectifying inappropriate works, mostly dating from the 1980s when the property (with adjacent property) was a London and Quadrant Hosing Association group home for the mentally handicapped. Additional fire doors were required for that use, but on sale and conversion to residential flats c 2001 some of the old features, such as the prominent alarm box and basement window guard were left in place. Internally the door frames from some of these additional fire doors were left in place rather than stripped out. The proposed works seek to rectify this and correct other non-compliant alterations such as the added uPVC windows, added to the rear, and reinstate as box sash timber framed windows
