Works to a Tree with a TPO: Hand dig a trench on the perimeter of the proposed rear extension parallel to the existing house to understand the extend of roof growths and potential pruning that might be required during construction.

Works to a Tree in a Conservation Area: T1 Portuguese, laurel in front garden, pollard to 2 m as overly dominant, causing shading to bay windows at front of house.

T1. Corsican Pine. Fell to the ground. Approximately 6 meters in height. Situated at the front of the property. The tree is situated to close to the house. T2. Malus. Fell to the ground. Approximately 7.5 meters in height. Situated at the front of the property. The tree is declining in health. Plant 1 x Amelanchier Lamarkii (Snowy Mespilus) in line with the Dulwich Estate Licence.

Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

Works to a Tree in a Conservation Area: T1 - Medium Larch. Tree has been historically hit by a falling tree from the railway, which has forced it to lean towards the house. Section fell to ground level.

Works to trees in a conservation area - T1 - XL Oak tree in front garden. Reduce lower lateral limbs back to main canopy. Focusing on branches growing towards the house. Remove epicormic growth & thin canopy by 20%. T2 XL Eucalyptus in rear garden. Limb previously snapped out 6 years ago. Tree is very dominating and the canopy is meeting the XL Ash tree to the north. Tree is causing excessive shading and dominating garden which is already heavily planted with trees. Section fell to ground level and grind stump.

Works to trees in a conservation area. T1. A Judas tree (Cercis) approximately 9m in height, situated in the front right-hand corner. Lightly thin by approximately 15% including the removal of any dead wood, lifting of low branches and the necessary shaping of the tree, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained. T2. A Holm Oak tree approximately 10m in height, situated in a central location on the front boundary. Low branches to be lifted or shortened back to convenient growth points. The crown should be thinned by approximately 20% including the removal of dead wood, and necessary re-shaping ensuring the height and basic shape is retained. T3. A Eucalyptus tree approximately 16m in height, situated close to the house on the left-hand side boundary of the rear garden. Reduce in height by up to 5m and re-shape as necessary.
