Details of Condition 4. Tree protection as required by planning permission 22/AP/2987 dated 25/11/2022 for construction of a single storey rear extension with integrated canopy. Demolition of the existing shed and construction of a new shed building and bike store to the side. Facade alterations to replace the existing windows and cladding. Renovation of the existing porch/garage to include a new roof, cladding and glazing. Installation of two rooflights to the rear roof slope. Boundary alterations to continue the existing hit and miss brick wall. Excavation works to create a lower patio level linking the new shed building to the main house and minor landscaping works to reform the front and rear gardens.

Works to Trees with a TPO: T1 - Front garden. Large Cherry tree. Tree has had significant die back over the last 8 years. The branches are very elongated and the crown is very thin. Works includes to reduce very heavily to encourage new growth from a smaller structure 3m from crown break. T2 - Large Oak tree in Lettsom Gardens. This tree is causing significant shading to a large Magnolia tree below. Pollard lower lateral branch to 4m from trunk as this branch is very low growing over the access to Lettsom gardens and also causing significant shading to Magnolia tree below. T3 - Large Oak tree. Remove small lower lateral branch growing towards and almost touching neighbours shed at the rear of their garden. This will give more light to the Magnolia tree.

Works to trees in a Conservation Area: T1 - Self-sown triple stemmed Ash tree, approx 9m in height, very close to right hand boundary and growing through a prunus which we would like to preserve for its fruit. Works - Remove by felling at ground level T2 - Self-sown Ash tree similar in height, again very close to the boundary fence and the garden shed at the bottom of the garden. Roots pushing up paving, and potentially the foundation of the shed. Works - Remove and the stump either removed or poisoned.

Works to Trees subject to TPO 215: -T1 Yucca removal as it blocks view from house -T2 Yucca (2) removal to accomadate small garden shed -T3 Alder Minor reshaping -T4 Field Maple Minor reshaping, lift by 1.5-2m by removing lower branches on main stem to allow planting and sitting underneath -T5 Laurel (lapsed hedge and now crowding Rowan and swamping small Magnolia) - reduce by 2.5 m, lateral reduction by 1m to allow trees either side to grow and to allow planting in bed in front.

Tree works 5 day notification: T1 has shed a large branch, and on inspection has been found to have significant cavities & decay at the base of another remaining very large branch, prompt remedial work is necessary to reduce the hazard

Five day notification of tree works T1: Dead Eucalyptus. The roots to the tree have been completely demolished by nesting foxes in a den very close by within the garden/ garden shed area and subsequently the tree is dying/ dead and very unstable. To be removed as a matter of safety.
