Works to a Tree with a TPO: Hand dig a trench on the perimeter of the proposed rear extension parallel to the existing house to understand the extend of roof growths and potential pruning that might be required during construction.

Lime tree situated on Council owned land adjoining No 6 Canning Cross. The canopy of the tree needs to be raised by approximately 2m over the building and to gain access to construct a mansard roof extension. Remove a lower branch over the roof as shown. Remove epicormic growth to facilitate scaffolding and remove dead wood. Height and form to be retained.

Yew trees (T1,2,3 and 4) remove due to extension works to the rear of the property. Yew tree (T5) to lightly reshape to improve presentation. Yew tree (T12) lightly reduce lateral branches to improve shape. Eucalyptus (T23) crown thin by 20% and reduce some of the lateral branches to allow more light through and improve the presentation of the tree. Smaller Yew trees (T14,15 and 19) remove due to congestion down at the end of the garden and there being two more substantial Yew trees and a Beech tree nearby that would benefit from more definition.
