T1 cedar Reduce over extending branches over the roof of the house by around 1-2m T2 willow fell, leaning/fallen over and in very poor condition T3,4,5,6 conifers fell, outgrown their area and significantly effect light levels T7&8 conifers reduce in hight by around 1/4-1/3 (back to previous reduction points) to reduce risk of failure. The work required is the the two trees which border the development and the public house, there are some dead branches and residents would like dead wood removed and these trimmed back to previous pruning points on the property side and removal of epicormic on the stem, so that it will allow more light into their properties. TPO 265E.

3 x Ash trees - Fell trees as they are showing signs of Ash die back, the home owner are concerned about the safety of the pedestrians on the public footpath along the canal. HAR/CA24, HAR/CA25.

I recently acquired the property known as Shaftesbury House, located at 3 Park Road, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 7DA, with the acquisition date being the 1st of September. Upon conducting a preliminary assessment, particularly focusing on the trees under Tree Preservation Order (TPO) Reference 56W, I have observed the following discrepancies: Pine (T5): Presently, there is no standing tree, only a stump remains. Sycamore (T6): The original tree appears to be absent, potentially replaced by a juvenile ash. G2 consists of 3 Pines, 3 Birch, 4 Cypress, 1 Holly & 1 Yew: Not all listed specimens are currently present on the property. G3 comprises 4 Cypress, 1 Holly & 1 Ash: Some trees from this group are missing, and notably, an Ash and a Cypress are deceased and require removal. Additionally, there's a Plum tree not accounted for in the TPO, which is also dead. The compromised trees pose a potential hazard, especially considering their overhang onto the public roadway and pavement. Given these observations, I kindly request the services of a Tree Officer to conduct an assessment on the property. This will ensure the records are updated accurately to reflect the current arboricultural status of Shaftesbury House under my ownership.Proposed Arboricultural Works: G2 - Cypress Trees (along Park Road): Crown lift of 1 m to ensure clearance from the road and pedestrian pavement. Prune branches overhanging the road and pedestrian pavement to reduce potential hazards. G3 - Remove both the Ash and Plum trees due to their deceased state and potential risk as they overhang the pedestrian path and road. Following removal, replant the area with 1 Oak tree to maintain canopy cover and ecological value. G3 - Remove the existing dead Cypress stump, replant the area with 1 Hornbeam tree. Homeowner would like to remove Cypress Tree in front garden. The tree is getting too large for such a small space located so close to the house (within 3ft). HAR/CA6.

Includes for re-design and improvement of car parking and landscape improvement works (amendment to DC064779).

I wish to remove a tree from our rear garden at 4 York Road, SK4 4PQ. The tree is a Lombardy poplar, over 60 years old, at the rear of the garden. It is probably 5 stories tall (it towers over our 3 story house). It has started to drop branches and has developed a lean to the northeast, as the prevailing winds tend to be from the southwest. I have been advised that lopping a tree of this type will not solve the problem, only make it worse (my neighbour did this, and the tree fell down a few years later). The neighbours are very worried as their properties would be affected if the tree were to fall. I am also nervous as the tree would also fall on my property. I don't like being nervous and I don't like having nervous neighbours. We will plant another tree (not a poplar!) in its place, as well as adding other (small) trees to the garden. HAR/CA15.

T1 and T2, Oak Trees at rear of property. Due to growth, the canopy of the trees extends to the house gutters and causes excessive shading. Trimming of secondary branches is therefor requested. A professional Tree Surgeon will be employed to do this. TPO 10E.

Oak T1 reduce crown by 2 to 3 meters to maintain size as growing too large near house. TPO 203W.
