Changing a flat roof at the front of the house to a hipped roof to match either side. Adding a new open porch. Modifying the current Outhouse layout to include a bootroom. Modernising the interior of the main property including changing a bedroom into an ensuite and walk in wardrobe. Addition of a new carport in front of existing garage and extending the garage roof over the new carport. Removal of a Sycamore tree and nearby shrubs to enable the widening of an existing driveway. The tree lies within the garden of a house that lies perpendicular to my home. The tree is at their side of the fence edge to my garden. The branches are hanging over my back garden and are nearly touching the roof. The previous owners maintained the tree and removed over hanging branches. This was around 25 years ago. More recently as the problem has increased I have approached the owners who have refused to take any action. It has now become a serious cause for concern. It blocks all my natural light and prevents the natural enjoyment of the garden. I would like to take action to remove the offending branches and trim back to the boundary. I will pay for the work and will be using a qualified and experienced arborist. I believe its a sycamore tree. I have looked at the tpo map and there is no tree listed as being where the tree is on the tpo map, directly facing the back of my house No 6. HAR/CA15.

We have x1 large london plane and X1 sycamore in the rear garden that we are looking to reduce. The plane tree have become really overgrown and are now approaching over near the house roof as well has taking a lot of light of the harden and next doors garden. The sycamore is blocking a lot of light also, as well as overhanging the highway and close the a street lamp. Crown lift to 5m, reduce in height by 4m and take 2m of the side, including complete removal of large branch hanging over the road. The tree has not been cut in over 13 years. Branches are dangerously close to the house resulting in loss of light and moss build up on the roof. The tree also overhangs the road could be dangerous to vehicles & pedestrians in high winds. Reduction in height of 9 Leylandii, parallel to the side wall of the property from 11m to 6m approx. to the gutter line of the main house. Reduce spread of trees by 40% to avoid overhanging neighbouring property and reduce shading of 2 Heathfield Road. Removal of 3 Leylandii, perpendicular to 2 Heathfield Road to facilitate works on of DC/077205. Upon completion of DC/077205, either replace Leylandii, perpendicular to house with new in order to fill gap or introduce new species to do same. All trees mature and allowed to grow unchecked so other species will have to be introduced along perimeter in order to provide same barrier. T1 Beech Tree - Client would like to remove a limb and reduce lower canopy over hanging the tennis court to reduce leaf coverage due to making the court slippy and dangerous to play on.
