The main goal of the proposed development is to maintain the character of the existing house while renovating, extending, and upgrading the fabric along with internal alterations to connect internal spaces and strengthen the relationship between the inside and outside. The proposed ground floor design creates better visual and physical connection between the interiors of ground floor rooms and the garden to the south. This is By extending across the full width of the house a new linear space approximately 2.5 metres deeps is created as a gallery which links the three main rooms of the house.
