T1 young Oak tree located behind garage outbuilding. Proposal to reduce back overhanging branches in line with property boundary. Reduction by 2.5 metres from branch tip. Work is proposed reduce risk of falling branches onto roof. T2 Small self seeded sycamore tree overhanging boundary. Proposal to reduce back overhanging canopy to boundary fence 1.5 metres from branch tip. TPO 61W, TPO 191W.

The following proposed tree work is to be completed by a tree surgeon and to BS 3998. 1) Ref: 9N, Tree Number: T28, Name: Mauldeth Road No.12 1975, Species: Beech Request to crown reduce beech tree by 30% taking all cuts back to suitable growing points. Labelled on sketch as T28. Tree is significantly overgrown and requires bringing back to a safe and suitable growing height. Tree branches are also growing into the telephone line. (Photos attached- T28, T28 Telephone line) 2) T1. Species: Laurel Tree. Location: At left hand side of the property. Request: to cut back the overhang to be in line with garage door and to top where needed. Required to shape tree and increase space on the driveway. (Photos attached- T1) 3) T2. Species: Conifers. Location: on right hand boundary of the property. Request: to top line down to the height of the first conifer. To cut back front and back face. Required to maintain trees and to produce more light on the boundary. (Photos attached- T2) 4) T3. Species: Laurel tree. Location: By the rear of the side gate. Request: To remove by root. Required to create space at side of the garden so that a summer house can be re-installed and so that roots do not disturb the building. Request: To remove to ground multi-stemmed holly tree. To stump grind the same ifneeded. Required Removal to create enough space to replace rear boundary fence panels and re-instate summer house. In rear garden, along boundary with 123 Bramhall lane south, T1 Oak, reduce all round by 1m, crown thin 15 %, and deadwood, raise crown to 5m, removing branches from above the garage roof, T2 conifer, reduce by one third. HAR/CA30, TPO#: - 162W.

(1) Trees & bushes at front of house to be pruned including holly, laurel & yew to be pruned by 20%. (2) Front right: Fell dead tree that has been taken over & killed by ivy. After felling the dead tree, neighbouring laurel will be able to fill out and take the space. (3) Side right: Fell 2 dead trees killed by ivy. Felling dead trees will allow other neighbouring trees including plum to flourish. (4) Fell dead elm tree to right boundary. (5) Fell large laurel bushes at right of vestibule entrance that are a risk to the dwelling foundations. (4) and (5) will be replaced by the boundary privet hedge which will be allowed to grow more fully. (6) Fell 2 small conifer trees directly in front of house as these are blocking light to the dwelling and are a risk to the foundations. Not be be replaced as too close to house. (7) Fell Italian cypress tree at rear of house adjacent to kitchen. Tree is causing a risk to foundations of dwelling. Not to be directly replaced due to proximity to house. (8) Fell dead conifer at rear boundary. Unlikely to be replaced as very close to large laurel and sycamore trees. New Portuguese laurel hedge has additionally been planted along this boundary. (9) Prune large branch of sycamore tree which overhangs neighbour's garage. (10) Fell laburnum growing within yew tree. Will not be replaced to allow yew tree to grow fully. HAR/CA29.

Oak tree on the boundary . Our neighbour( 52 Motcombe Road) has asked for this application to fell the tree. Neighbour has complained that the root is causing lifting of one slab and cracking of another slab on a drive leading up to a stand alone detached garage. There is no damage to the main drive or the foundation of the garage. Their concern is for damage that may occur in the future. They have provided a report which suggests either felling of the tree or root reduction by trimming ( we have spoken to several tree surgeons who have refused to do any work on the roots as this could affect the future stability of the tree). TPO#: T2 - 31W

T1 - Atlas Cedar. Fell due to poor location so close to front wall, driveway and pavement. The tree has outgrown its available space and appears to be causing damage to the front boundary wall (see attached pictures) There is also some evidence of cedar needle blight causing dead tips to the branches, although currently fairly minor. T2 - Cypress. Fell due to poor form and poor location beneath cedar. T2 has grown rapidly in competition with the cedar, meaning that if T1 were to be removed, T2 would be left very one-sided and therefore unbalanced, as well having low amenity value. T3 & T4 Pine sp. Fell due to poor choice of species for location; poor condition of T3 and excessive shading of front lawned area. T3 in particular is showing considerable signs of stress with a very sparse covering of needles. The choice of species has made the front of the property extremely shaded - the lawn is basically a dark and unusable space. These pines also seem to produce a particularly dense network of surface roots. Given the proximity of the garage block and front wall, the applicant has understandable concerns over the potential for future issues. The applicant is amenable to replanting, but would favour utilising the wider border along the left hand side of the driveway when viewed from the road. In this way, replacement trees could be sited further from the garage and, ideally, further back from the front wall. We have suggested that 3 Scot's Pines might work as part of a remodelling of the existing border planting. HAR/CA29, TPO#: 81W, TPO#: 85W.

T1, Cherry, located to the rear, adjacent, RH side of the boundary. Sectional fell, growing at a severe angle to compete for light, is is 100% over the property and has cambial dieback at 1.5 m on the compression side of the trunk, which is compromising its safety. T2, Next to the above tree. Oak, crown lift to provide 4 metres clearance, from ground level (garden side only). T3, Next to the above tree. Cherry, Sectional fell, as with T1, its stem and entire crown, occupies the garden and has a bacterial canker present. T4, Sycamore, located next to the garage, sectional fell to ground level, the tree is overcome with Ivy, has a large amount of squirrel damage and is within close proximity to the garage. T5, Hazel, located on the opposite side to the above tree, re-coppice to manage as a boundary marker. HAR/CA29, TPO#: 326W.

Trees bordering 72-78 Beechfield Road Crown lift 2 x lowest lateral branches on sycamore next to garage. Remove all epicormic growth up to 8m on all lime trees along the border. Cut back all vegetation along boundary to fence line and behind garage. Prune back to growth point lowest lateral branches in garden of 78 to 2 x lime. Main site Cut any growth back to pavement on driveway. Clear any lighting columns. Crown lift Pine on driveway to include first lateral. 6m crown lift oak on driveway. 8m epicormic growth removal to lime on driveway corner. Sever any ivy on tree stems. 1m clearance around bin stores of any encroaching branches. Full deadwood removal of Limes on grass area (can be done when climbing for the works at 72-78). 10 epicormic removal of large Lime in back of property. Elmfield House 6m crown lift to 2 x mature beech near car park. Prune 2 x beech away from rear of building to pruning points. Full deadwood removal medium beech adjacent to 2 x mature beech next to car park. Crown lift 6m all trees behind properties 4,5 and 6. 6m crown lift to sycamore adjacent to car park entrance.
