The tree lies within the garden of a house that lies perpendicular to my home. The tree is at their side of the fence edge to my garden. The branches are hanging over my back garden and are nearly touching the roof. The previous owners maintained the tree and removed over hanging branches. This was around 25 years ago. More recently as the problem has increased I have approached the owners who have refused to take any action. It has now become a serious cause for concern. It blocks all my natural light and prevents the natural enjoyment of the garden. I would like to take action to remove the offending branches and trim back to the boundary. I will pay for the work and will be using a qualified and experienced arborist. I believe its a sycamore tree. I have looked at the tpo map and there is no tree listed as being where the tree is on the tpo map, directly facing the back of my house No 6. HAR/CA15.

There is one tree in this application. It is a Silver Birch in the rear garden of 27 Tatton Road North. It is roughly 3 metres from the boundary fences of 3 neighbouring properties. The tree is thought to be over 60 years old and approximately 12 metres in height with branches that are not accessible to a layman. An arborist has been retained and has given the opinion that the tree should have approximately 3 metres of reduction across the canopy to make it more manageable and protect telephone wires running through the branches to the house next door. Removal of large conifer in rear near house approaching house height and if it fell would hit the house. The root system is starting to undermine fencing. If removal is not possible then a significant reduction and sympathetic reshape at the very least. There are also two large apple trees which drop an excessive amount of fruit that I would like to trim back. Admittedly, along with other fruit and vegetables that are grown in both my neighbours gardens, I think they are the main reason for a rat infestation that we had last year. It would be great to just chop these back 1/2m and make them more manageable. HAR/CA21.

Hazel - growing out over the highway and causing damage to boundary fence with neighbour. Prune excessive growth. Cherry tree - growing excessively over neighbour's boundary fence and making contact with their house. Also making contact with our house and roots causing ground damage and potential wall damage to our house. Tree is at rear of property, not highway facing. Remove tree and replace with smaller, slower growing tree. - HAR/CA15

This tree is split and is causing an urgent and obvious danger to the corner of the house and driveway, in addition to breaking the fence beneath it at the core of the trunk. To be replaced by a cherry blossom tree. Trees B, C, D, G - Leylandii - proposed to fell. This is part of a series of trees situated alongside the boundary wall and causing damage to the wall itself or nearby property. To be replaced by a more controlled leylandii tree, or similar to retain environment and privacy. Trees E, F - Leylandii - proposed to fell. This is part of a series of trees situated alongside the boundary wall and causing damage to the wall itself or nearby property. This tree is causing particularly significant damage to the patio area and is a threat to the house itself.
