DC/089013 | Tree Works In A Conservation Area

6 Cedar Grove Heaton Moor Stockport SK4 4RN

The tree lies within the garden of a house that lies perpendicular to my home. The tree is at their side of the fence edge to my garden. The branches are hanging over my back garden and are nearly touching the roof. The previous owners maintained the tree and removed over hanging branches. This was around 25 years ago. More recently as the problem has increased I have approached the owners who have refused to take any action. It has now become a serious cause for concern. It blocks all my natural light and prevents the natural enjoyment of the garden. I would like to take action to remove the offending branches and trim back to the boundary. I will pay for the work and will be using a qualified and experienced arborist. I believe its a sycamore tree. I have looked at the tpo map and there is no tree listed as being where the tree is on the tpo map, directly facing the back of my house No 6. HAR/CA15.

1. Beech - Remove secondary lateral limbs to clear the roof by 2 metres. 2. Laurel - Reduce to approximately the height of the wall and prune hard back on the property side. (This shrub could also be removed if you preferred). HAR/CA14. 3. Laburnum - Fell to ground level and treat the resulting stump to prevent regrowth. 4. Holly (under the Beech) - Reduce in height to 3.5 metres from ground level. 8. Rhododendron - Fell to ground level and grind out the resulting stump to approximately 150mm below ground level. Roof Trees Garage Boundary
DC/080747 | Tree Works In A Conservation Area

Rear Of Blocks 1 & 3 Kingsleigh Court Kingsleigh Road Heaton Moor Stockport SK4 3QF

There are a large number of conifers which have grown over their owner's property boundary onto my client's land. My client needs to replace the roofs of 8 garages on their land, which are at the boundary of the property which owns the conifers. We cannot undertake the roof replacement without cutting back the conifers that are growing over the garage roofs. For those conifers that have grown over the garages (we would not touch those that are not over the garages), we propose to cut them back to the boundary from the garage roofs to a height of around 6/7 feet. Also, one of the conifers appears to be growing into the garages or have partly fallen into the garages; it may be necessary to fell and remove this individual tree. We are unsure if replanting a replacement conifer would be required due to the dense number of conifers already growing in this area already. - HAR/CA21
