The tree is a large Willow within the boundary of my property. It substantially overhangs the road - Ogden Road. My neighbours on the opposite side of Ogden Road have said that the tree moves significantly in the wind and that they are concerned about the damage it would cause if the tree was to be blown over in the wind. The tree is also very close to the fence and its roots are damaging the footway. My proposal is the have the tree taken down by a specialist tree surgeon, to remove the risks. HAR/CA34

TPO Ref- 69W. Ash Tree at 78 Swann Lane. Identified as T1 in the aerial photograph attached to this application. Scope of work proposed by Tree Surgeon is as follows: Large sized Ash tree located adjacent to the boundary fence at the rear of the property. The Ash tree is showing longstanding signs of significant Ash. Dieback disease with a large proportion of the canopy noted to have little to know leaf/ bud growth. An extensive low level. cavity has degraded over time causing damage to the base of the tree. This cavity is noted to extend to circa 20% of the stem base and will impact the trees stability. Allow to remove the tree to ground level. All brash and branch waste will be chipped and taken away from site for local recycling. TPO Ref- 69W. Copper Beech Tree at 78 Swann Lane. Identified as T2 in the aerial photograph attached to this application. Scope of work proposed by Tree Surgeon is as follows: Large sized Beech tree located at the rear of the property adjacent to the boundary fence. Beech tree is noted to be generally overgrown and is preventing light passage into the gardens of a number of the Swann Lane properties. Allow to undertake a crown reduction of circa 15 - 20% to the Beech tree. This will include a reduction in height by circa 2 - 3m. Allow to crown thin the tree to allow light passage through the canopy. The works will be undertaken to compliment the Beech trees natural shape, this will leave the tree in a neat and tidy spherical shape allowing further light passage through the canopy. All waste brash to be chipped and taken away for local recycling.

Tree Identified as T1 on the attached tree location plan. Medium sized Willow tree located adjacent to the boundary fence at the rear of the property. Willow tree is extensively overgrown and is noted to be causing issues with the boundary fence and associated fence foundations. The tree has also caused complaints from the adjoining owner of Cranbourne Court due to the tree depositing leafs and branches onto their car port roofs and onto parked cars. Sections of boundary fence are noted to be damaged due to the proximity of the tree to the fenceline. This tree requires removing to ground level in order to undertake repair works to the fence foundations which will enable the reinstatement of the fence panels. - HAR/CA15 , TPO#: T161 - 15N

T1 Sycamore - fell. Self-seeded against fence and will damage boundary fence, also too close to building and interfering with overhead cables. - HAR/CA33

Apple tree in back garden in front of boundary (with No 4) fence. Remove horizontal trunk to allow younger branches to grow. HAR/CA9, TPO#: 60E.

T1 Large Lime tree in the play park behind the rear boundary crown thin around 10% for natural light penetration also cut back large limb over the garden and general prune back for maintenance. T2 Reduce to fence height shrubs behind the fence.

1.Fell sycamore sapling, it is damaging the boundary fencing and also causes excessive shading. 2.Fell cherry tree, the roots have damaged the concrete base of a substantial outbuilding and there is also potential danger to the conservatory of a neighboring property. 3.Reduce silver birch crown by 20%, potential danger to main building and causing excessive shading. T1 - Beech. - Remove to ground level and remove stump. - Tree is causing extensive shading to property and is very large for a small garden. Tree is dislodging boundary fence. Tree is causing large amounts of bird mess on drive and cars. Tree is growing through phone wires and could potentially cause damage to phone wires. - TPO#: T1 - 426W

Reason: health hazard caused by faeces dropping onto play equipment from birds perched on branches. Branches to be pruned either to the fence marking the boundary of the conservation area, or to be pruned back to the tree trunk (pollarding). 2.
