TPO 1/02 - 12 mtr Oak tree spread across the house, 3mtrs from house with crown spread of additional 3 mtr over roof approx.

T1 - London Plane - reduce canopy height by 5m to leave a finished height of 25m. Reduce spread by 4m to leave finished spread of 20m. Raise canopy up to 5m from ground level. Extremely large tree for location. Overhanging house and garden causing excessive shading.

Remove overhanging branches from the willow tree in the rear garden of 8 Marshall Close shown on the attached sketch map. The tree is overhanging my neighbours garden at 173 Cheylesmore Drive and shading his apple trees. He has asked if the larger branches might be removed in line with previous work carried out prior to us owning the house. Remove overhanging lower branches on silver birch tree in the front garden of 173 Cheylesmore Drive which are now close to the roof of 8 Marshall Close. We would like to trim these branches back to ensure they are not overhanging the roof or providing a route for squirrels to enter the roofspace. My neighbour at 173 Cheylesmore Drive owns the tree but is happy for work to be carried out to his tree.

Description Oak No 5 - In the G2 area, located to the right rear of the property Description of proposed works. To crown clean removing any dead, dying, dangerous, rubbing, crossing or fused branches from the aerial canopy of the large mature Oak tree and to crown thin in order to carry out a visual inspection of the tree, removing epicormic and secondary growth throughout the aerial canopy. To carry out the work in a safe controlled manner suitable for the environment and to remove all of the arising. Reason for work. Recent change in home insurance has required inspection of tree due to it's proximity to the house. In order to sign off an inspection it has been suggested that the tree would benefit from crown thinning to allow full visibility as to the health of the canopy and tree as a whole, also to the safety of the stature of the tree.

I have an oak tree in my back garden which is located some 13 meters from the house very close to the fence between myself and my neighbour. There are two dead branches on the tree, one on my side of the fence and the other that hangs over my neighbours garden. I would like to remove both of these branches to avoid any risk of falling into my garden or my neighbours garden. In addition there is a large overhanging branch over my neighbours garden (third picture) that I would like to cut back as much as is permitted.

Application for tree felling of Silver Birch tree in rear garden of 3 Macdonald Road, Lightwater. Silver Birch tree has grown too large for the garden space with it now hanging over number 5?s house, it reaches the fence line to 3A and is almost touching our house. The roots of the tree have raised the ground with some exposed roots making it a trip hazard or it could cause serious injury should someone fall onto the exposed roots. We have a 1 year old who cannot go in the garden due to the trip hazard and falling branches, it is too dangerous for him to play in the garden. The branches on the tree often fall, some are large which are a danger to us as well as would cause damage to cars parked behind our garden fence. The branches hang over our next door neighbours house. The branches touch their roof, if a branch was to fall this would cause extensive damage to their house. The Silver Birch is in the shadow of a large Lime tree which blocks large amounts of light causing the condition of the tree to have diminished which as a result causes the branches to die and fall. Silver Birch trees are known for their high pollen count, our 1 year old son has clear signs of hayfever, often rubbing his eyes, sneezing, running and itchy nose, we have attended the doctors who have said it is likely to be hayfever however they cannot diagnose it as he is too young. It would not be fair or right to let him continue to suffer until he is old enough to be diagnosed when he clearly suffers. We are not against having a tree and would plant another tree in its place which is thinner and has no or low pollen. The type of tree that we would propose in its place is an Acer tree or Liquid Amber tree. The Silver Birch has become very dangerous and causing our son health issues so we request to remove the tree and replace it with a tree which will not be a hazard to people, to buildings as well as to reduce the allergies affecting our son. The trees are a sweet Chestnut (T1) and a beech tree (T2) on the sketch plan. Tree T1 is touching the roof of the house and if allowed to grow further could damage the roof tiles. T2 is much taller and overhangs the house. I would like to lop the offending branches off T1 and trim the overhanging branches of T2. The work proposed would reduce the volume of leaves falling into the gutters, make it more difficult for squirrels to get on the roof and then into the loft space, and would cut back the tree growth that has occurred since the last successful tree lopping application in December 20013.

Rear garden English Oak - Lift low canopy over garden only, by removal of approximately five lowest branches over garage and lawn and shorten back 2 longer branches in upper canopy growing towards house by approximately 2 metres - this will reduce the radius growing towards the house from approximately 6 metres to approximately 4 metres, pruning to suitable live secondary branches and in keeping with remaining canopy. Lifting low canopy over the clients garden to approximately 6 metres - no branches in excess of 20 cm to be removed.

T1 - Horse Chestnut - Fell in sections to ground level and grind out the stump. At present the tree shows signs and symptoms of the disease Bleeding canker, i.e. weeping lesions on the main stem and primary scaffold limbs with a rusty appearance. Historic occluded strip wounds are present around the circumference of the main stem from ground level up to 1.5m, indicating that the disease has been established for many years. The tree also suffers with horse chestnut leaf miner, causing the leaves to prematurely wither and drop during the summer months. The surface roots on the south side of the tree are causing superficial cracks in the concrete driveway of No.1 Copelands Close leading towards the house, indicating direct damage caused by the incremental root growth of the tree's roots below the driveway. It is proposed that the tree is replaced with small native species that can help to replace the loss of amenity and canopy cover caused by the removal of this tree, such as a rowan.
