Leylandii to rear of property in grounds of back garden. Either removal, or pruning of tree. The tree sits in the middle of our rear decking as pictured, and is quite tall/imposing. There is a lot of dead branches in the tree also. We inherited this Leylandii when we purchased the house, it looks like it hasn't had any maintenance in some time. We would like to reduce the tree or remove it to prevent damage to the decking and improve light to the back garden.

We have a huge old Chestnut tree; on the right side of our house passage between the front garden to the back garden. This tree and its branches lean onto our master bedroom roof and it feels insecure when heavy rain or wind comes. We are looking for advice and requesting to remove this tree as safe as possible. We had opinions from different tree surgeons and the advice has been the same ???It has 3 separate big branches and all 3 have different heavy weights which is pulling them apart, hence eventually they will fall on our roof and can damage our house as well as can be life-threatening to us and our neighbour???s house too.??? We had a visit from a tree officer and we are happy for another to come and inspect it again if required. We bought this house in 2020 only because we have fallen in love with this woodland area; we love trees' surroundings, and we encourage how important tree protection is for humankind and the great survival of all living. We enjoy feeding birds and foxes who come from time to time looking for food, as we thoroughly enjoy our surroundings. However, we love this tree if and only if it could have been placed in a much better and safer place. But we think it has all signs of danger which we would like to avoid. We would like to offer to replace this with a new tree planted in a better place so we do our best not to lose any trees in this area if possible.

Magnificent oak in front garden (T1) - prune side branches only back to solid growth points (including the branch reaching into the garden of my neighbour at 84 Chobham Road) not more than 4 metres. The aim is to shape the canopy so the tree is balanced, especially the long branch snaking back to the house. May we also please remove deadwood and the low branch (B1) on the sketch plan? Flowering cherry (T2) in the front garden - fell due to absorbing moisture from the lawn, excessive shading and contributing to a lack of light to the kitchen at the front of the house. This tree was probably planted after TPO 2/74. Portuguese laurel (T3) and flowering cherries (T4 & 5) all in the back garden - we wish to fell the laurel before it damages the brick wall a few inches away and fell T3, T4 and T5 without a replanting proposal, because all three trees absorb moisture from the lawn, and to ease the workload of tree management at this property. T3 - 5 were planted before TPO 2/74.

Located to the rear left of the property T1 English Oak - carry out a judicial crown reduction to reduce and reshape the tree. Reduce by up to 2.5-3m pruning back to suitable growing points, finished tree height will be 17m. Finished radial canopy spread to the north 8.5m, east 6m, south 6m and west 7m. Raise the canopy to 7.5m from ground level by, prune to clear the fabric of the house by 3m and remove major deadwood from the tree. Reduction works are requested to scale the tree to a more manageable size in relation to the site and its use. This work is a re repeat of the work we carried out in 2015. With the addition of a slightly higher crown lift to give further ground clearance and increased space and light to the properties. All work is to be carried out to BS3998:1989 (now 2010).

16 Ling Drive Lightwater Surrey GU18 5PA

TPO 13/86 Woodland W2 We have recently moved into number 16, Ling Drive, Lightwater. We have a large Oak tree to the front of the property which requires some attention. My concern is the amount of deadwood within the tree, a reasonably large branch fell out and landed next to one of my employees whilst he was working beneath. I have had an arboriculturist come round to offer advice and he has recommended a 30% reduction to properly maintain the tree whilst not impacting the health but rather ensuring. I am also concerned with the amount of growth the tree has seen without proper maintenance and being so close to the house, if we have high winds like we did last year large branches falling and hitting the house. I appreciate the tree was long there before and we certainly love the tree, however it is in need of some urgent attention.

T1 Oak tree : proposal to crown reduce the tree by approximately 2 metres (15%), remove all deadwood and any problem branches . Thin out the crown of the tree by 10% and crown raise the tree to a height of 5 metres. T2 Sycamore tree : proposal to crown reduce the tree by approximately 2 metres (15%), remove all deadwood and any problem branches . Thin out the crown of the tree by 10% and crown raise the tree to a height of 5 metres. The reason for the proposed works is that the trees are very over bearing cutting out light into the house. The trees are also encroaching onto the house and are dropping many bits of deadwood.

Sweet Chestnut tree that is dead and in danger of collapsing on to the roof of our house, or possibly on to the road alongside. Paul Searle (arborist) has visited, confirmed that is dead, and that it needs to be felled.
