G1 - small group of conifer trees (don't think are protected) fell and grind. trees are unsightly and at the entrance to the large property, felling and grinding these small conifers to make way for better landscaping

T1 - Scots Pine to reduce over extending limbs on the East and West site over property and road respectively by up to 1.5m only. To reduce the chance of these limbs failing. Remove all major Deadwood. T2 - Scots Pine, split stem tree with Cobra Brace installed. (To check/Assess brace) Thin crown of tree by 15% to reduce weight and surface area subjected to winds. Reduce selected over extending/heavier limbs by 1.5m where required, remove all major deadwood. T3 - Sweet Chestnut, to Re pollard to original pollard height of approx 5m from ground level. This tree is suppressed by adjacent larger Chestnut.

T3 - Scots Pine: Crown lift to 2.5m over the footpath. Reason: Reduce encroachment onto footpath. T11 - Cherry: Reduce the crown by ~2-2.5m. Reason: to re-balance the crown due to heavy suppression from neighboring tree. Crown lift to a height of 2.5m over the footpaths to reduce the encroachment onto the footpath. T12 - Scits Pine: Fell to ground level. Reason: Tree in decline due to Fungus ?Phaeolus schweinitzii? at the base of the tree. Significant deadwood throughout the crown. T13 - Acacia: Prune to gain a clearance of 3m from the property. Reason: To reduce encroachment. T24 - English Oak: Crown lift to 2.5m from ground level. Reason: To reduce the encroachment over grass area. T30 - Horse Chestnut x2: Prune back selective branches to gain a 3m separation from the buildings. Reason: To reduce the encroachment. T31 - Lime: Crown raise to a height of 5,2m from ground level. Reason: Reduce encroachment onto footpath and grassed area. T32 - Oak: Crown lift to a height of 2.5m from ground level and prune to clear the properties by 2.5-3m. reason: Reduce encroachment onto footpath and property.

T02 ? Common Beech: Lift crown over parking bays to give 5m clearance from ground level. T03 ? Small Leaf Lime: Reduce height to no less than 18m and spread to no less than 6m to reduce unacceptable risk to acceptable level. T04 ? Norway Maple: Remove tree due to poor form and lamp post interference.

Pruning Oak trees on property

Sweet Gum tree - Remove lowermost branches to provide sufficient clearance to property

T402 Cedar: - Fell to leave a monolith at 6m (all timber to left in situ, if you would like timber removed this will be additional cost) T403 Horse Chestnut: - Reduce lateral spread on north side by up to 2.5m T432 Horse Chestnut: - Fell to ground level Reason for works:All works have been highlighted from a Tree Condition Survey, the trees were found to have either Not Acceptable or Not Tolerable risks and therefore require the recommend works to bring the trees to an Acceptable risk. Please refer to survey report. T1 and T2 Oaks: - Prune to reduce lateral branches on south side of crowns by 2.5m, pruning to suitable growth points, with the aim of providing a suitable clearance from building T442 Oak: - Prune 1 low branch facing east by 2.5m pruning to suitable growth points, with the aim of providing a suitable clearance from container Reason for works: To mitigate encroachment of branches on building and storage container.

Rear Garden G1 Oak tree line located on the rear boundary consisting of 5 trees. Scope of Work The Westerly side of the tree line is growing towards the property and covering 90% of the outside space and approximately 2m from the building line. G1 is significantly proud of the continuing tree line in the adjacent gardens. I advise raising the canopy to 5m from ground level by removing the lowest limbs from where they originate. To then reduce the remaining mid crown by up to 2m from the branch tips back to suitable growth points ensuring suitable foliage remains to support each limb.

The subject of this application is the TPO scots pine (ref TPO/24/90) located: 2.2m from the public pavement forming the front boundary of the property; 1.8m from the large TPO oak to its west; and 9m from the large TPO beech to its east (see attached sketch). The scots pine is dying and potentially DANGEROUS. At least one large bough has previously fallen from its top in strong winds. The proposed work is to make the tree safe by removing the remaining boughs at the top and cutting the trunk down to approx 1m of ground level. Given the large size of the nearby mature oak and beech TPO trees, we are not proposing to plant a replacement for the scots pine.
