Application to vary condition 10 (Trees) of planning permission Ref: 67/3428 for the 'Erection of two-storey block of elderly persons flatlets, comprising 12 one-person and 6 two-person flatlets with common rooms and garaging / parking facilities for 10 cars.' to allow for felling of 1x Lawson Cypress (T15) and 1x Apple tree (T18) (see attached sketch plan marking location of trees).

Erection of a first floor side extension and alterations to existing roofline, including alterations to the pitch of the original roof, increase of existing ridge height of main roof by 0.55m and creation of a crown roof. Conversion of loft space involving dormer extensions to the rear and flank roof slopes and roof lights to front roof slope.

Acacia Tree (T1)- Fell to ground level and stump grind the stump. The work is required as the tree is leaning and some roots are showing and could be a safety issue.

(T1) Birch - fell.

1 x Sycamore tree - fell due to excessive shading.

Lime (T3) - Crown Reduction by up to 3 metres, remove major deadwood greater that 20mm in diameter and raise crowns to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level ; Lime x 3 (T4) - crown Lift to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level and remove major dead wood greater than 20mm in diameter.
