The proposed works relate to the existing Gas and Plumbing Building and include: - Internal reconfiguration, including partial demolition of existing internal walls to accommodate Animal Management facilities and gender-neutral toilet facilities - Works to the external envelope, including the overcladding of the existing brickwork walls with a combination of metal and timber cladding, in order to improve the thermal performance and visual appearance of the building - A new entrance canopy, accessible ramped access and automatic sliding glass entrance doors - Replacement of the existing windows with new PPC aluminium framed, double-glazed units and additional clerestorey windows to allow more natural light into the building - Replacement of the existing external doors with new PPC steel doors - Single storey flat roof extension to the rear of the building, to accommodate a bigger plant room - New secure fencing to accommodate external learning/teaching spaces for the animal management department

The proposals include: - demolition of the existing one storey side extension, ground level rear boundary wall and the existing pergola structure, - erection of one storey rear extension and two storeys side extension - new landscaping at the back and to the side of the house - new fences to the North and South boundary lines of the site

Erection of a rear dormer roof extension. Single-storey rear ground floor extension, following demolition of an existing rear lean-to, to form additional living space. Erection of a fence with a masonry wall base and an access gate, following demolition of an existing single-storey garage. Removal of front porch and door to reinstate original recessed entrance and reinstating two chimney stacks.

Demolition of outbuilding replaced with detached double garage. Removal of three trees. Erection of perimeter walls and fencing and associated landscaping works including reformation of driveway.
