Works to Thorn Court include remove flashing and replace where required, remove and replace slates where required.

Proposed works are to repair a chimney stack on roof already being re-slated under approved application 22/00556/LBC

- Removal and re-installation of existing slate roof coverings, bringing salvaged / reclaimed slates to site were existing cannot be re-used. Slates will be of colour, texture, and size to match existing. - Replacement of flashings. - Renewal of felt roof covering to Valley and Parapet gutter areas. - Over boarding of failing failing lath and plaster ceilings internally. - Removal of asbestos materials in relation to the works.

Proposed restoration of existing stone barn. To include new glazed entrance, new insulated floor and roof and structural repairs.

Listed Building Consent: Roof replacement to the building including new double glazed roof lights, replacement of existing downpipes and associated fittings to match existing, internal gutters are to be relined, localised repointing (as required), new lead flashing, felt, battens and slates on roof to match existing, 100mm insulation added, existing slates to be reused where possible to south and north elevations, and existing solar panels to be replaced like-for-like.
