Application for approval of details subject to conditions 3 (materials), 4 (protection of trees), 5 (windows) of planning permission number 22/00298/FUL.

The tree that we would like to carry work out on is the Magnolia Tree identified on the attached plan as T2 and also noted as T2 in the Tewkesbury Council Tree Preservation Order No. 313 Reduce branch back to an appropriate point as it is damaging gate and touching glass on the kitchchen window which may break. See photographs accompanying the application which explains the issues and proposed works.

Leylandii (T1) - Fell to the ground, has grown to an unmanageable size, is obstructing the driveway, and completely obscure front bedroom window. Leylandii (T2) - Fell to the ground, excessive shading and low amenity value, has become unmanageable in size, consumes valuable garden space. Leylandii (T3) - Fell to the ground, excessive shading and low amenity value, has become unmanageable in size, consumes valuable garden space. Leylandii (T4) - Fell to the ground, excessive shading and low amenity value, has become unmanageable in size, consumes valuable garden space. All works to be carried out by Tree Surgeon, all stumps to be ground out.

TPO Trees. Tree of Heaven T5 - Remove as causing excessive damage to nearby table tombs (please see report for photos and more details) Glastonbury Thorn T52 - Prune off basal shoot as low as possible. Box elder T31 - Repeat crown reduction 1m off height and 2m off side, prevent damage to building. Flowering Almond T32 - Trim back to clear from windows and damage to roof of adjacent building Whitebeam T35 - Reduce west side of crown by 3m to re balance. Yew T36 - Trim to small cone to keep as topiary and not damage near by graves. Sweet Gum T14 - Prune out dead areas. Box Elder T30 - Repeat crown reduction : mainly on S & W sides Wellingtonia T11 - Prune off long limb (see report for photo) At same time check for major dead split or defective limbs. Prune out dead, reduce end weight of split limbs. None TPO Trees G1 Mixed - trim shrubs and trees off wall. Cut and poison stump of elder. T2 Lawson Cypress Cultivar - Trim hard of building. T3 Hornbeam - Overall reduction and re shape to maintain scale with location

Fell conifer tree as outgrown location - obstruction to footpath and entrance to property also causing daylight issues with windows - tree within 2 metres of property.

T1 Prunus Reduce by 1.5-2m and reshape. T2 Laburnum (on driveway) Reduce by 1m and reshape. T3 Middle Laburnum Remove including stump. T4 Silver Birch Reduce left hand side and top by 2-3ft and reshape. T5 Whitebeam Crown lift right hand side to allow 8x6ft shed underneath but reduce remaining tree by 3-4ft and retain privacy from neighbours window. T6 Sycamore (at bottom of garden) Crown lift.

Non material amendment to planning permission ref: 18/00109/APP for: substitute house-types (Plots 82, 157, 173, 184, 219 & 225), re-location of sub-station to entrance of site, addition of small ground floor front window to house-types Ripley, Mylne and Eveleigh, amendment of front porch canopy design (Plots 66, 68, 71, 72, 73, 76 and 80), updated tree loss plan confirming the removal of four Category U Common Ash trees (G1), Updated levels plan confirming level changes arising from final cut and fill strategy, additional parking space to Plot 129, relocation of bin muster point adjacent to Plot 129, updated landscape plan replacing gravel with turf where it abuts the highway, and amendment of roof elevations to Flat Blocks B, C and D to incorporate automatic opening vents.
