Reduce overhanging laterals to reduce overextended limbs of Sycamore tree by 4.5M. Remove or carry our end-weight reduction to lower limbs in close proximity to house roof line, to provide suitable crown clearance from roofline of property block. To alleviate crown encroachment and light filter issues to property and garden, while reducing end weight to crown, reducing risk of limb failure to over extended limbs. Fell X1 Self-set Sycamore T3, located close to fence boundary. height approx 6/7m Fell and remove due to low value and poor siting growing under established trees. Crown reduction at sides only - Cutting back branches off Leylanddi trees at the side of the house, on right hand boundary next to house. Reason - to reduce encroachment/debris over garden/house and give clearance to patio. My neighbours (No. 21 Cedars Avenue) huge pine tree overhangs my property and drops thousands of pines on my decking and on to my roof, thereby blocking drains. The birds that roost there also drop considerable amounts of droppings on my decking causing considerable and regular cleaning. I am also not sure the tree is in particularly good health & could be potentially dangerous. NB: This tree is under TPO 662 & has been lopped before, c10 years ago (under application 11/0622/TCA) but has regrown.

Crown Reduction to T5 English Oak (Category A): undertake 2 metre crown reduction to improve light levels as well as reducing future stress on the foundations of the new extension. Removal of deadwood and improving safety. Removal of Ornamental Cherry T2 (Category C): T2 is a semi-mature cherry tree close to the garage, its rooting area is notably poor being surrounded by paving and driveway. It has slender form and its canopy touches the garage roof-line. T2 is in close proximity of the house so its removal will reduce future stress on the foundations of the house and garage. We propose the removal and replanting of a new replacement cherry. Phased removal of G3 Cypress Group (Category C): The trees were planted to create screening and privacy, but have not been height managed and are now excessively tall. The trees have large stems, some less than 2m from the boundary walls and close to the foundations of the house and not sustainable. The trees' canopies touch the house and roof-line, creating excessive shade on the south eastern side of the garden. G3 cypress are still not mature and can be expected to continue vigorous growth, potentially creating issues and stresses on the house foundations. We propose a 'phased tree removal' of G3 cypress group over several years. The removal of G3 will have many advantages, including improving light levels to the eastern garden and will be highly beneficial to nearby groups of English Yew (G2) G1 Boundary Cypress Trees (Category C): This linear group of cypress located on the south western boundary, has been left to grow excessively tall over a period of time and requires maintenance. Reduce their height by 50% to allow more light into the garden and create a formal 2m hedge.
