WE are sad that these trees have to be removed but having had an oak tree collapse in the winds last January demolishing 5 stables and a hay store we do not want a repeat. We have planted more than 120 trees on our property in 2021.

1 x Oak - rear garden. We are requesting permission to remove one dangerously leaning tree and fell one dead tree. The reason for this request is that that one trees has grown at an angle and to a size that can't support its own weight, the other tree is dead so both are dangerous and are likely to cause damage to my neighbours property. I have been advised by the tree surgeon that in a storm it is very likely the tree could break and the dead tree is not stable.

Opposite the above address is the horse field and stables. In the field there are 30 (T1-T30) sycamore trees which are poisonous to horses and in the past the owners have had one die as a result from eating the seeds. for this reason they moved the horses to a neighbouring field which they rented but the owner is no longer willing to rent it to them so they need to go back to using their own field. These are self set sycamore trees that have been left to grow massively out of control for the last 30-40 years, the plan is to pollard each tree at around 5ft to allow them to still grow but not high enough so they blow the seeds all across the field. Also there is a mix of ash and sycamore (G1) as a hedge that hasn't been reduced for some years. This will be cut back to previous cuts to around 5-6ft.

Ash - Rear garden The kinked stem attached to the tree on its north-east side (see Photograph 5) is reduced in height by 1-1.5m, and reduced in spread by 2m. The height of the tree elsewhere is lightly reduced as required by up to 1m to create a smooth profile following reduction of the north-eastern stem detailed above. The crown spread of the remaining tree is reduced in length by 1-2 metres as required to create a more stable profile. Dead wood is removed.
