Oak to be felled to ground level. The tree is in heavy decline 90% of the tree is dead. Most of bark is missing having rotted and peeling away from main stem. I feel the tree is now dangerous as more branches could snap and fall down with winds and rain. The branches lean over to the side of 11 Grove Park Farm and also to my neighbours at 37 Sandy Lodge Way. Conifer (growing in front of Oak) - To reduce in height by to make more manageable by approx 5 mtrs off the top to allow light to come through to garden and keep tree from being too tall and swaying in high winds. The width wont' be reduced - just the height.

Horse chestnut x 1 - reduce crown by 2.5m on height and 2.5m on spread Reasons: The tree was topped to around 8m above ground level in the late 1960's. It has regrown strongly and now supports a large, regrown crown on structurally compromised material as well as restricting light from the southern and eastern sides, and also to the front and side elevations of 'Farm Cottage'.

Service - Fell Work required- Fell as close to tree's current ground level as possible and leave the stump in the ground. Reason - The tree is in poor condition with a sparse crown and large dead branch overhanging driveway of Beechwood Lodge. There are torn branch stubs from previous branch failure, and cavities at base of two large branches. The trunk is also in contact with the brick pillar at the entrance of Beechwood Lodge and is likely to cause damage if the tree is retained and continues to grow in girth.

Oak lopping, reducing and balancing. Branches from both trees are overhanging Bullsland Lane. There are EIGHT branches that need to be cut off. The lowest of these is approx. NINE metres above the surface of Bullsland Lane. The highest of the branches is approx.TEN metres above the surface of Bullsland Lane. These branches extend FOUR metres across Bullsland Lane and intrude EIGHT metres over the courtyard of No. 49 Bullsland Lane i.e. High Ash Farm.
