G1 - Woodland Tree Line - Located on boundary, to rear/side of No. 64 Boundary Way. Consisting of 2x Mature Sycamore shown as T1 & T2, located close to the boundary line, with considerable overhang to property and garden area of no.64. Reduce overhanging laterals to reduce overextended limbs of Sycamore tree by 4.5M. Remove or carry our end-weight reduction to lower limbs in close proximity to house roof line, to provide suitable crown clearance from roofline of property block. To alleviate crown encroachment and light filter issues to property and garden, while reducing end weight to crown, reducing risk of limb failure to over extended limbs. Fell X1 Self-set Sycamore T3, located close to fence boundary. height approx 6/7m Fell and remove due to low value and poor siting growing under established trees. Further crown growth will likely cause continual conflict to adj property and boundary.

Lawson Cypress x 4 - T1, T2, T3 & T4 Fell the 4 trees to ground level. Due to poor condition as once was maintained as a hedge, now overgrown on old pruning points creating over extended thin tops with potential for failure next to neighbouring property and electrical substation. Additional works for low level vegetation removal at front of substation (A1), although not part of the application due to exemptions of stem diameter size for vegetation. Removal of area necessary for reinstatement of security fence around substation.

Neither myself nor our neighbour can identify the species of tree as it is pretty much dead. We are both in agreement that the tree can be removed subject to the councils approval as it is damaging the fence and parts of the tree appear dead. They also have a lovely Laurel which we think will thrive once the tree is removed. There is only one tree to come down. I have spoken with Tom Hunnings from Penn Tree services and he advised that the best course of action would be to remove the branches and because of the health of the tree the whole tree to come down - it is pretty much on the border of the properties.

11 ash trees, originally self seeded on Green Pastures side of fence shared with neighbours - The White Cottage. The trees are between the two houses. They are 11 metres from Green Pastures, approximately 8 metres from The White Cottage. One (No. 3 on sketch & Photo R3) is entirely dead. No. 11 on sketch, the largest is partially dead - identified as suffering from Ash Die Back by tree surgeon. We would like to remove the two dead ones and reduce the other 9 to where they were last pollarded - 6/7 years ago, reducing them to about half their current height.

T1 Oak - Reduce the overextended limb from over the neighbours by 3m to prevent failure. T2 Beech - Tips in decline. Reduce the crown by 4/5 meters to retain tree T5 Hornbeam - Historic damage to rear of stem with heavy lean over neighbours. Fell to ground level T6 - Root decay and woodpecker holes. Reduce to Monolith at 10 meters T7 Cypress - In decline with lean over neighbours, pushing on fence. - Fell to ground level.

Request to be felled. T30 - Conifer - Partial cut back on NE facing side and on top by previous owners rather atrociously. In a corner 2 other large conifer trees. Request to fell this tree in order to open up space more and provide more light to the property as very close.

Please consider my request for the removal of a self-seeded Sycamore tree and the reduction in height by 3m and 2m from the sides of three other trees (2xAsh, 1xSycamore), all grouped together, at the end of my garden. The reasons are as follows: The self-seeded Sycamore tree (first on the right as shown in the picture) and as shown on sketch plans A and B (marked as tree 1)- the roots are causing damage to the decking area which is creating an uneven surface which is dangerous to walk on and it obstructs access to my shed. Additionally the tree is causing damage to the fence (photo attached). The four trees (all shown in sketch plans A and B, marked 1 - 4) in a cluster are blocking a significant amount of light to my garden. A similar self seeded sycamore was removed from my neighbours garden a few years ago (photograph attached with the tree I am requesting to remove in the background).
