Crowan Berry Lane Chorleywood Rickmansworth Hertfordshire WD3 5ES
T1 - Maple - Fell to ground level. The tree has extensive decay at the base due to a previous tear out of a low branch. The tree is now showing signs of decay (flaking bark, lots of deadwood, decayed base). It is close to a footpath and is also at risk of hitting the homeowners garden features. T2 - Lime (multi stem) - Pollard Three of the closest stems have dropped excessive branches in recent storms on to the resident's shed. Pollarding to a height of approximately 7 metres will provide smaller, more controllable growth which will reduce the amount of branch drop in the future. All trees are in the rear garden.

Pollard 2 x Sycamores reduce them down to approx 8.0m high. they are approximately 30 metres high currently i GPC Tree Surgeons has identified one tree in section G28 of the TPO740 as a macrocarpa tree and the TPO calls the tree an Atlantic Cedar. Proposal is to remove broken branches hanging in the trees see photo IMG_0559 which was snapped off in the snow storms 2 years ago, it is now dead and in risk of falling out unexpectedly so could injure anyone underneath and or damage the shed below the tree. In addition the proposal is to remove the widow makers (dead branches ) in the cedar trees. that are at risk of falling out unexpectedly damaging the sheds and greenhouse below or and injuring anyone below. I have had two benches smash into my green house recently and a branch fell on the shed when I was in it which has prompted me to get them sorted. For clarity I do not propose to cut down or remove any trees. I am using GPC Tree Surgeons to undertake this work se quote quote_02-03-2021_19_57
