Ash Tree in back garden. Cant miss it - 60 plus feet tall with branches spanning 3 gardens. Urgently need to prune the crown and remove dead branches. Some large heavy branches have fallen which is a concern. Tree Identification - Ash tree - height c30 metres Span - c25 metres Location is in the back garden of 213 Hampermill Lane WD19 4PJ. It is on the edge of the boundary with 215 Hampermill Lane. Easy to identify - its the only tree over 2.5 metres tall in the garden. Description of works - Reduce crown by 3 metres - reduces height to c21 metres - Remove dead branches. Reasons why work is required - Large branches have recently fallen into the garden, and we are concerned over safety of both ourselves and children who play in the garden. Growth in crown is uneven with a number of dead branches.

Reason : as part of continued maintenance to control and contain overall size of the tree due to close proximity to the house. b) T18, White Willow ( Salix Alba): located in the rear garden right hand boundary. Work required : All round reduction of 3 metres to balance the tree and removal of deadwood and removal of epicormic growth up to lower branches and removal of a hanging broken branch Reason: continued maintenance and to reduce wind loading and sail area of the tree as large branches break and fall in the wind.

Height - 10m Location - rear boundary Service - Reduce height Work Required - crown reduce ash back to previous pruning points by removing approximately 4m (regrowth). Reduce height of Lawson cypress by approximately 1m. Hedge Trim front as hard as possible whilst retaining a green screen. Reason - as part of continued maintenance

T1 - Copper beech - approx 15 metres in height - Rear garden right hand boundary - Crown reduce back to previous points (approx 1.5 to 2 meters) to create a compact form and prevent wind loading. T2 - Common beech - approx 8 metres in height - Front drive - Crown reduce back to previous points (approx 1.5 to 2 meters) to create a more balanced and compact form. Removal of all major deadwood.

It is proposed to fell one Beech (T1 on sketch plan). The tree is suspected of being infected with Giant Polypore (Meripilus giganteus). A new standard-sized Beech (R1 on sketch plan) shall be planted along the rear boundary.

Multiple branches have dropped into adjacent garden in recent years, to reduce end weight and wind sail in adverse weather and reduce the potential to drop more branches/limbs.
