Lawson Cypress x 4 - T1, T2, T3 & T4 Fell the 4 trees to ground level. Due to poor condition as once was maintained as a hedge, now overgrown on old pruning points creating over extended thin tops with potential for failure next to neighbouring property and electrical substation. Additional works for low level vegetation removal at front of substation (A1), although not part of the application due to exemptions of stem diameter size for vegetation. Removal of area necessary for reinstatement of security fence around substation.

11 ash trees, originally self seeded on Green Pastures side of fence shared with neighbours - The White Cottage. The trees are between the two houses. They are 11 metres from Green Pastures, approximately 8 metres from The White Cottage. One (No. 3 on sketch & Photo R3) is entirely dead. No. 11 on sketch, the largest is partially dead - identified as suffering from Ash Die Back by tree surgeon. We would like to remove the two dead ones and reduce the other 9 to where they were last pollarded - 6/7 years ago, reducing them to about half their current height.

T1 Oak - Reduce the overextended limb from over the neighbours by 3m to prevent failure. T2 Beech - Tips in decline. Reduce the height by 4 meters to healthy suitable growth points T3 Beech - Tips in decline. Reduce the height by 4 meters to healthy suitable growth points T4 Oak - Heavy lean with roots plate movement. Reduce the crown by 4/5 meters to retain tree T5 Hornbeam - Historic damage to rear of stem with heavy lean over neighbours. Fell to ground level T6 - Root decay and woodpecker holes. Reduce to Monolith at 10 meters T7 Cypress - In decline with lean over neighbours, pushing on fence. - Fell to ground level.

T1 Sycamore - fell to ground level as it is growing on boundary line inhibiting new fence T2 Ash - fell to ground level to increase light into garden and to give adjacent tree more growing room

Please see breakdown of request below to fell a total of 16 trees... T1 - Conifer - request to fell tree. Extremely tall and close to our and neighbouring property. Very difficult to maintain and little benefit. Blocking light. T2 - Elderberry - request to be felled T3 - Silver Birch - dead tree, request to be felled T4 - Silver Birch - dead tree, request to be felled T10 - Elderberry - dead tree, request to be felled T11 - Elderberry - very young tree growing at an angle. Maintaining 2 other laurels in the garden, request to fell this one. T12 - Elderberry - dead tree, request to be felled T14 - Ceder - Extremely tall tree, limited leafage/branches at top. Extremely concerning during light winds when tree waves aggressively. Primary risk of falling over on our or neighbouring property. T20 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T21 - Cherry Plum Tree - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T22 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T25 - Conifer - leaning heavily upon boundary fence to the extent fence is falling apart and impacting pavement on Parrotts Close. Inevitable this tree will need to be felled given at risk to falling on the road. Request for tree to be felled. T26 - Hawthorn - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T27 - Laurel - young tree to be felled, no support and shrouded out by neighbouring large conifers T28 - Silver Birch - leaning silver birch tree, limited room or light to grow given surrounding large conifers, Very close to house. Request to be felled. T30 - Conifer - Partial cut back on NE facing side and on top by previous owners rather atrociously. In a corner 2 other large conifer trees. Request to fell this tree in order to open up space more and provide more light to the property as very close.

Please consider my request for the removal of a self-seeded Sycamore tree and the reduction in height by 3m and 2m from the sides of three other trees (2xAsh, 1xSycamore), all grouped together, at the end of my garden. The reasons are as follows: The self-seeded Sycamore tree (first on the right as shown in the picture) and as shown on sketch plans A and B (marked as tree 1)- the roots are causing damage to the decking area which is creating an uneven surface which is dangerous to walk on and it obstructs access to my shed. Additionally the tree is causing damage to the fence (photo attached). The four trees (all shown in sketch plans A and B, marked 1 - 4) in a cluster are blocking a significant amount of light to my garden. A similar self seeded sycamore was removed from my neighbours garden a few years ago (photograph attached with the tree I am requesting to remove in the background).

T1 - Yew - Reduce tree by 3.5 - 4 metres, and reduce retained lateral limbs to balance canopy (1.5-2.5 metres) to maintain at a reasonable size for location T2 - Cypress - Large twin stem conifer by corner of shed - remove thin upright stem between two main stems (leave the stem close to shed for now) and crown raise the canopy by 2 metres to allow more light underneath T3 - Cypress - Multi stem conifer, crown raise to match twin stem conifer in front (1-1.5 metres) T4 - Cypress - To left of shed, reduce canopy height by a third (1.5-2.5 metres), to allow more light to surrounding trees and garden T5 - Prunus - Rear boundary - dismantle and remove twin stem prunus leaning on fence over neighbours, poor form and causing damage to fence T6 - Yew - Remove two or three low select branches, and check and remove if necessary any small branches that are significantly fouling phone line, to clear services and left canopy away from cars

Removal of Leylandii trees x 3. Removalnof tree stumps. Situated at the back of the garden. Have grown too tall and are damaging the fence. Some branches are overhanging to neighbours property.

2 x Leylandii trees to be removed (T7 and T8). They are now 6 m tall and 4.5 m wide. Very close to neighbours fence and causing considerable shading and dry soil in their garden.

T1 Conifer hedge- reduce lateral growth extending over garden of number 1 Parrotts Close by 0.5m to contain spread. T2 Hazel hedge - reduce branches back to boundary line to alleviate damage to fence T3 Ash - reduce branches extending towards no1 Parrotts Close by 2.5m to pre-empt limb shedding
