T1 - Conifer - Remove - front limb failed facing house, leaving a large unsightly bare patch, and mains sewer drains underneath had to be cleared in the recent past to remove roots (see pictures) - will be replaced with a broadleaf as part of re landscaping project T2 - Conifer - Crown raise to lift canopy giving 3 metres of clearance underneath, allowing more light into garden T3 - Oak - Remove significant deadwood for safety reasons T4 - Conifer - Remove as poor health and poor aesthetics

T1 - Dismantle and remove Maple in decking area, tree is very close to the rear of the property, and continued reductions to maintain at a reasonable size have reduced the aesthetics of the trees. Previous historic landscaping has also resulted in some of the main stem being below surrounding ground level, which is having a negative impact on the health of the tree

T1 - Tree type - western red cedar (Thuja) Approx Height -16m. Approx Spread - 5m Location -rear garden left hand boundary close to property Fell as close to tree's current ground level as possible and leave the stump in the ground Reason - Various longitudinal Cracks noted throughout tree and appears hazardous as per customers request. T2 - Ash ( Fraxinus excelsior) Approx Height -15m. Approx Spread - 7m Location - rear garden left hand boundary Fell as close to ground level as possible and treat with one application of glyphosate only, to prevent regrowth Reason - Notable die back seen throughout crown T4 - Conifer (Lawson cypress) Approx Height - 10m Location - rear garden top left hand corner Fell and grind out stump to a depth of approx. 200mm below the stumps current ground level and leave all stump's arising to allow for ground settlement Reason - tree in decline and to create a more open landscape as per clients request T5 - Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) Approx Height - 18m Location - rear garden top left hand corner on boundary of number 11 Sever and clear a 0.5m section of ivy from the stem Reason - Prevent encroachment into outer crown and allow future inspections of stem

The work is to pollard the trees, they were last done in 2020 since then part of the site around the trees has been developed and now a significant reduction in the structural frame work of the trees would make them more appropriate to the setting. The trees have no open public view, the trees are significant to the site as a landscape feature of pollards and they will continue to be this, although smaller and more managed. One mature Scots Pine and two Leyland Cypress in front garden. Trees T1601, T1602 and T1603 to be dismantle and felled to ground level due to damage to hard landscaping and declining condition.

Permission is requested to remove 3 trees: Front Garden: Goat Willow which was located at the front of our property by the old wall but was felled by Storm Chiara (so this is a retrospective request) - Replace with Japanese Maple Front Garden: remove Goat Willow located by old wall (still standing but damaged) - Replace with Japanese Maple Front Garden: remove Silver Birch closest to the garage (still standing but damaged) - Replace with Ornamental Cherry Tree Note: Angela Borges, Tree & landscape officer at 3 Rivers Council, has already visited the property and inspected the trees in question.
