Reason - Problematic tree growing within close proximity to building T2 Service - Stump Grinding Work required - Grind out the stump to a depth of approx. 200mm below the stump's current ground level and leave all grindings. 1: Sycamore Tree which is 3 meters from the garage and has damaged the boundary wall and is at risk of falling. The cracks on the boundary wall have been increasing recently. Concerned about high winds may cause it to fall over the garage roof and cars on the drive way. Been advised by the tree surgeon it is best to fell this tree and stops roots from spreading. 2: Ash Tree which is on the boundary and 3 meters from the garage. This tree has a large number of branches expanding over the garage roof and also a large number of roots expanding towards the garage foundation. The tree surgeon has advised that this tree should be trimmed and have a haircut. This will protect the garage roof and slow the expansion of roof and provide safety.

Crown reduction at sides only - Cutting back branches off Leylanddi trees at the side of the house, on right hand boundary next to house. Many branches are overgrown and overhanging on top of the roof of the house and gutters of 3 Heathside road. T1 - Beech tree fell to ground level. the tree has been reduced but is still very large for the garden and is causing mess to the outhouse roof below G1- cut neighbouring overhanging trees to boundary line, these are mainly conifers T2- laurel cut back to boundary line

Crown Reduction to T5 English Oak (Category A): undertake 2 metre crown reduction to improve light levels as well as reducing future stress on the foundations of the new extension. Removal of deadwood and improving safety. Removal of Ornamental Cherry T2 (Category C): T2 is a semi-mature cherry tree close to the garage, its rooting area is notably poor being surrounded by paving and driveway. It has slender form and its canopy touches the garage roof-line. T2 is in close proximity of the house so its removal will reduce future stress on the foundations of the house and garage. We propose the removal and replanting of a new replacement cherry. Phased removal of G3 Cypress Group (Category C): The trees were planted to create screening and privacy, but have not been height managed and are now excessively tall. The trees have large stems, some less than 2m from the boundary walls and close to the foundations of the house and not sustainable. The trees' canopies touch the house and roof-line, creating excessive shade on the south eastern side of the garden. G3 cypress are still not mature and can be expected to continue vigorous growth, potentially creating issues and stresses on the house foundations. We propose a 'phased tree removal' of G3 cypress group over several years. The removal of G3 will have many advantages, including improving light levels to the eastern garden and will be highly beneficial to nearby groups of English Yew (G2) G1 Boundary Cypress Trees (Category C): This linear group of cypress located on the south western boundary, has been left to grow excessively tall over a period of time and requires maintenance. Reduce their height by 50% to allow more light into the garden and create a formal 2m hedge.

Tree number - G1 Tree type - 2x Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) Approx Height - 18m Location - Rear garden, Rear boundary Service - Crown Reduction Work required- Reduce crowns by around 4m height and 2m spread, pruning to best form. Remove major deadwood over 25mm diameter and any hanging or broken branches. Lift crown over neighbours shed to rear to give 1.5m clearance from shed roof. Reason - As part of regular maintenance, to allow more light to adjacent gardens, reduce debris and reduce potential for failure on longer end weighted limbs.
