To alleviate crown encroachment and light filter issues to property and garden, while reducing end weight to crown, reducing risk of limb failure to over extended limbs. This former residential care home has now come back under the control and management of Hertfordshire County Council and unfortunately since the property has become vacant there have been a number of attempted break-ins and acts of vandalism. For this to be affective a certain amount of vegetation needs to be cut back/removed so that 360 vision can be gained throughout the site. Not all of Margaret house falls within the conservation area. I have highlighted in yellow (within the recommended works document) the trees that do.
