Mature English Yew encroaching on Church roof- reduce encroaching branches to allow a clearance of 2.5 metres from church roof

1 x Beech and 2 x Oak (applicants ref. T2, T3 and T4) - Cut back from roof by 2m. 1 x Beech (applicants ref. T5) - Cut back from the property by 2.5m. Reason - All trees to be cut back to stop encroachment onto the roof. Standing in Woodland W5 of Tree Preservation Order

Applicants ref, T2 Purple Leaf Plum, 1 stem has pushed fence panel out - Cut marked stem back to boundary. T5 Goat Willow, branches hitting adjacent building and roof - Prune to clear building by approximately 1m. The hall behind T1 and T2 has a damp problem due to the trees growing against the building, work is to give an airspace round the building to improve air circulation and prevent more damp, T1 Yew - Cut rear face back to main uprights, reduce height to flat roof, crown reduce front lightly by approximately 1-2m leaving nicely shaped, T2 Beech - Crown lift to give approximately 2m clearance from Masonic Hall, T3 Yew - Crown reduce top by approximately 2m leaving rounded but keeping low screening as tree is getting very large and blocking light, T4 Golden Yew - Crown reduce top by approximately 1.5m leaving rounded to contain tree, keep away from wires and give more light, T5 Elder - Crown reduce whole crown by approximately 2m, maintenance pruning, T6 Hawthorn - Crown reduce whole crown by approximately 1m and maintenance pruning to make easier to manage

To re pollard to below the old growth points, about 6 metres one stem on a mature sweet chestnut that has previously been done after it looks like it was hit by lightning before. the re growth is heavily leaning over the garage roof. there was one limb that snapped out in the autumn and there's sign of fungus fruiting body's on the stem (although unidentified)
