T5 Weeping Willow - Crown lift to 2m above ground level T6 Magnolia - Subtly tip prune and shape T7 and T8 Cypress - Crown lift to 2m above ground level T9 Cedar - Remedial prune to ensure 2m clearance from the dwelling T10 and 11 Cypress - Crown lift to 2m above ground level

T1 Horse Chestnut: Crown lift epicormic growth to 5m from ground level; Crown reduce secondary growth towards the dwelling to achieve a maximum space of 2m; Remove branch being damaged and causing damage by direct contact to stable roof.

Felling 3 Dead Trees (T19i, T22i & T42i) - 5 day notice. Proposed removal of Sycamore T42i. The tree is suffering severe crown die back presumed to be a result of the particularly dry spring and early summer months (refer to photograph 1). The extent of die back has left the tree susceptible to crown failure, compromising public safety and the owners duty of care. It is proposed to replace the tree a maximum of 2m from position of T42i with 1No . Field Maple - Acer campestre at standard tree form 8-10cm girth. Proposed removal of tree group G45i. These pole type trees are growing very close to rear corner of dwelling at plot 5 to such an extent the routeing of drains and the necessary building up of ground levels will compromise the trees retention (refer to photograph 2). The 3 items are not shown for retention on the approved plans and it appears were mistakenly omitted from the initial site clearance work. No replacement planting considered necessary due to abundant adjoining tree cover and proximity to dwelling under construction. Proposed removal of Sycamore T119i. The tree is suffering severe crown die back presumed to be a result of the particularly dry spring and early summer months (refer to photograph 3). The extent of die back leaves the tree susceptible to crown failure compromising public safety and the owners duty of care. It is proposed to replace the tree a maximum of 2m from position of T119i with 1No . Field Maple - Acer campestre at standard tree form 8-10cm girth. Removal of Pine T122i. The tree is dead due to longstanding suppression/overcrowding (refer to photograph 4). No replacement planting considered necessary due to abundant adjoining tree cover. If the Tree Officer is amenable it would be helpful to meet on site to resolve any issues that may arise due to the timescales proposed.

Removal of 18 trees- 14 owing to silvicultural thinning (2 x Beech, 1 x Silver Birch, 5 x Cherry Plum, 1 x Hawthorne, 2 x Hornbeam, 2 x Oak, 1 x Rowan); - 1 owing to proximity to dwelling (1 x Oak) - 3 owing to poor condition (2 x Beech, 1 x Cherry) Remaining trees to be allowed pruning of branches to lift the crowns in line with good horticultural practice. Recommendations are referenced in attached tree assessment carried out by MJB Landscaping.

Variation of condition 1 (approved plans), of approved application 18/01817/S7301 dated 17.5.2022 [which granted permission for variation of conditions two (approved plans) and three (materials) of approved application 18/01817/FUL (Erection of 2 dwellings with attached garages, access driveway and all associated works) dated 19 October 2018 to include a garden room on the rear of unit 2, fenestration changes to both units and substitution of approved material specification to vary the approved facing brick to natural stone] to now realign the service road and position of unit 2 to facilitate the retention of tree T24 and to amend the design of unit 2 to include a larger garage with first floor addition, first floor side extension and to increase the width of the two storey rear projection.
