The approved ridge height of the extension was approved at 2.75 metres, this has been slightly increased to 3 metres during construction. The original drawings indicated there would only be one step up to the front door, this has had to be amended to 2 steps to comply with building regulations. The original Planning Statement noted that there would be a one brick gap between the extension and the neighbouring property. This was refused at building regulations stage due to maintenance concerns. The gap has therefore been removed at construction phase. A step has been added on the driveway to comply with building regulations access requirements.
