The containers can be shipped to site by HGV and placed on concrete blocks set within loose gravel. platform. The containers housing the batteries are 12 metres long, 2.4 metres wide and 2.9 metres high. A single switch and control unit is required which is 13 metre long, 5 metre wide and 3.9 metre high. The whole facility is enclosed within a 2.4 metre high mesh fence. The development includes a 17.5 metre wide, 77.5 metre long substation containing transformers, busbars and other equipment up to 6 metre high
