These works will require the removal of the existing door and glazed side screen to provide a location for the two control units and a member of staff without interfering with passenger access through the gates. No structural alterations are required. It is proposed to carefully remove the door leaf and the glazed screen panel but retain the existing outer frame and architrave which can be made good and redecorated if required.
