Demolition of four existing school buildings and development of a new U-shaped three storey teaching block, with associated hard and soft landscaping, parking, external canopies, boundary treatments, amended pedestrian and vehicle access from Compton Park.

Proposed development works to three existing blocks of flats. The proposals include new External Wall Insulation (EWI), new balconies, new windows and external doors, refurbishment of the communal areas, new car parking, demolition of the existing balconies and construction of new ones, new sprinklers and a new sprinkler tank house, demolition of the existing entrances and construction of new entrance lobbies, the extension of the roof parapets, a new district heating system and energy centre, upgrade of the smoke ventilation system and building fire safety, replacement of the core services (power/ cold water), new SUDs and associated landscaping works.

Application to vary Condition 6 of reference Number: 22/00683/FUL (Partial redevelopment of the Former Eye Infirmary site, including demolition in a conservation area, the change of use of the old Eye Infirmary building for the provision of residential dwellings, a new stepped residential building with ground floor commercial space, the refurbishment of the existing Nurses Home and two storey extension for an Eating Disorder Clinic and development of SEN School building, car parking, landscaping and other associated works).
