23/00006/TPO (T1) My client is wishing to extend his current gravel driveway in line with sketch plans provided using heavy duty weed control membrane and covering off 20mm golden flint gravel to the whole area, this would be into the RPA of the adjacent T1 oak tree which measures for tree of 97cm diameter at 1.5m (0.97 x 12) = 11.6m radius, the measurements for driveway are 7.4 metres away from the front door in line with golden shrubbery border as per photos and from corner stone off current driveway to front garage door 6.25 metres away in a curve, driveway would be dug down by hand under arb supervision and dug down to remove top soil to a maximium depth off 300mm, any roots exposed larger than 25mm would be covered by the membrane and then by 20mm golden gravel to match previous driveway as per photos smaller roots would be pruned under guidance if required.

Single storey rear extension with flat roof, replacement of windows and doors, removal of rear chimney stack and right hand side elevation changes to fenestration. Removal of two trees in front drive and trimming other hedges.

Horse Chestnut - Crown lift in line with guttering on house (approx 4.5 metres), where drooping branches extend below the level of crown lifting they will be pruned back to next available and suitable pruning point as per BS 3998 (2010). Crown reduce on house side and neighbour's at 38 Windsor Gardens by no more than 2 metres, ensuring sufficient foliage is retained on the lowest primary lateral branches that extends towards the house at 37 Windsor Gardens.

Reason(s): overshadowing the property & close to structure; T2 - Beech (suppressed centre tree of group) - Fell. Reason(s) - suppressed by adjacent trees limited canopy and amenity; T3- Beech (on corner of front garden close to End Hall Road and Mill Lane junction) - Crown lift to provide no more than 5.5 metres clearance over the highway, limiting pruning to secondary branches where possible. Crown lift by the removal of secondary branches to provide no more than 4.5 metres clearance above ground level on the parts of the canopy that doesn't overhang the highway. Crown reduce any branches that notable extend past the general canopy line by 'drop-crothcing' to first available pruning point within the general crown line (this crown reduction will not result in an overall reduction of shape or size, just a smoothing or the outer canopy line). Reason(s) - Management relative to the public highway and the adjacent property. N.B. - amended specification agreed with agent on site on the 23rd September 2022

T145 - Cedar tree in front garden - Reduce limbs that extend beyond the natural crown line, by no more than 2.5 metres, back to appropriate pruning points via the 'drop-crotching' method to reduce as far as possible within the reduction length allowed back in line with the natural crown line. Prune back to appropriate pruning points via the 'drop-crotching' method to provide 2.5 metre locus of clearance from any adjacent building. Reason(s) - to reduce wind exposure on extended limbs and provide appropriate clearance from adjacent structures.

06/00023/TPO (W2) - Prune three secondary branches that extend towards the house at 19 Cricket Meadow (as shown marked with a red dot on attached photo) back to an appropriate pruning point so as they do not extent beyond the natural caonpy line. Remove epicormic growth from main stem.
